Gotcha. Thanks for your help.
I wish I had thought of that – to temporarily disable the CC plugin. I did that, went back into the settings, did the authorization and it works perfectly now. Re-enabled the CC plugin and all seems still good. very strange. thanks for that! Is it true that when my google password is changed, I need to generate a new project?
Hi Dake. Did I re-authorize? By clicking the big orange button that says “allow plugin to send emails….”. yes. It asks me to log into the Google account I’m using, allow that account to perform that function, and then says ‘Account Connected! and a page of Constant Contact info”. which is weird because that’s not related to what I’m doing. That was my first point of confusion.
When you ask “did you remove the connection via your WP Mail SMTP settings…” can you be a little more specific? I went through the whole documentation following the instructions until the instructions no longer looked like what I was seeing (detailed in my post).
This doesn’t seem like it is that hard, and I successfully set it up once, so I really feel like I should be able to handle this. It would help though if the instructions matched what I’m seeing.
Anyway, any help you could provide would be great. thanks.
Roger that. Thanks for your quick responses! We’re all good.
Excellent! I’ve always been able to root out the missed pieces. So, since we’ve gotten to the bottom of that and the other issue, I have just hit the x on the error. I assume I don’t need to do anything else?
Thanks! I didn’t realize I could select one and have it go there automatically – i did that, tested it, and it works perfectly. thank you!
the url of the ‘constant contact settings’ is https://www.refugeesupportservices.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ctct_forms&page=ctct_options_settings
Since it says ‘support settings’ i poked around and found the page it might be referring to by clicking the settings item and then the support tab and that url is https://www.refugeesupportservices.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ctct_forms&page=ctct_options_settings_support
I wonder if the first url link is just an outdated/dead link and the 2nd url is actually the one that is correct.
Administrator.
I have the name of the Constant Contact list I need the subscribers added to. Where can I put that so that the subscribers don’t choose it, it just happens automatically when they sign up? Thanks!
I’ll plug that in when you get back to me and see if that fixes the error “Submitted to Constant Contact: An error occurred while attempting Constant Contact API request.”

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] I have a solution fix plugin 100% workedThis download is labeled in the URL as version 6.64 but the files in the zip are version 7.5. (I installed it anyway and it doesn’t resolve my freezing issue). Also, what version of the extension should I be using with this? So far, what I have has not resolved the issue: both source and destination have ver 7.5 of plugin and 1.5 of the extension. Any help available on that? Thanks.
Yowza! Such a fast response! Thank you so much! That totally makes sense to me.
I will email you at that address.
