Not to riddle you with replies, but the post order did not work. I want it for the category page specifically. I have a static front page so this doesn’t seem to be working when using the post type ‘post’

Also, I am a little confused on how to apply these functions. I made it work without the author line of code for the time being, but how would I show the tag or category?

Specifically, I want to show the author, the category Title only (eliminating just the word ‘category’).

I can make certain things work, but it doesn’t actually get rid of the hook. All it does is bring up a message saying I don’t have privileges, but I want to eliminate the hook all together.

Yeah so this is exactly what I need. Looks like I can do it without pro, but it just doesn’t seem to work. I would buy Pro if I knew it would work lol

UPDATE: Think I have to screw with the plugin themselves, as the menu.php won’t let me break them out

UPDATE: I finally found menu.php to be the applicable file if anyone is looking into this.

I’m in wp-admin/index.php . Right in the beginning are the basic funtions for all users, but I cant find anything like ” current_user_can (‘view_plugins’).

If anyone could help me with this, I’d be very grateful!

Thanks for the help! I’m getting the hang of it. Advanced Custom Fields could work a little nicer without hacks but it gets the job done. Oasis works well too without much screwing around, thanks for this!

I already use the other plugins which help, but I want to escape the WordPress Admin pages. I don’t really like how a user signs in, and the WordPress stuff pops up on the left/top etc. I’m looking for more of a custom feel for my entire blog that eliminated the WordPress User interface altogether.

yes mobile is turned on. The funky thing is that it is only certain posts. Maybe an update is what caused it? But I can’t find the source of the issue.
