After deleting the translation files dbem-de_DE.mo and dbem-de_DE.po only the backend interface is now English. Please check screenshots:

If I download the translation files using this selection like in the following screenshot https://www.directupload.net/file/d/3565/l6w58rzm_jpg.htm I get one file named export-translations.po. Is this right? And if yes what should I exactly do with it?

This is too tricky for me. Is it possible to backup all event data, delete the plugin, make a clean reinstall and import the backup?

I have exported the events-manager-de.po and renamed it to dbem-de_DE.po and overwrited the one on the server. Nothing changes.
