    Thanks for your reply Sebastien.
I’ve installed the plugin and had a look but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to let you set a default site to be cloned when a new site is created.
Since I am automatically creating a site for each user when they register I need to be able to tell it what site the automatically created one should copy and I can’t see a way to do that with this plugin, unless I’m missing it somewhere?

    Thanks anyway

    Hi George

Thank you for your reply. That is a good idea and something that I have looked at. The problem I am having with it though is that the plugins have a lot of custom code relating to the different functions they perform and I don’t have the knowledge of composer, the vimeo api or the individual plugins to be able to identify what bits do the basic configuration of the vimeo api.
I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of guidance on how to do the basic setup of the api in WordPress.

Thanks @mmaattiiaass sounds like this could be problematic…
So my next question is, is it possible to mask the image urls in some way so that it doesn’t show the parts I want to remove on the front end in the address bar or when hovering over a link?

    Thanks!

Hi bcworkz thanks for your reply.

I can remove it via php but the issue that I have is that I would really like to show/hide panels depending on a radio button selection in the customizer, so I need it to dynamically update when the radio button is changed.
Am I correct in saying this is not possible using php as the page seems to have to be fully refreshed for it to take effect?

OK that makes a lot of sense, thanks so much for your help and taking the time to explain, it’s much appreciated.

Ah that makes sense, I have it working now.
When you say I shouldn’t be changing the customizer in the theme anyway does that mean that I should also be adding sections to the customizer through the plugin? I don’t get a warning for that like I did for removing panels in the theme?

    Thanks

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated.

I wonder are you able to share links to any examples of custom implementations like this?

    Many thanks

Just to update on my original issue:

Smashballoon helped by getting me to check that:

    1) That you are the admin of the Facebook page you’re trying to display posts from
    2) That the app is in “Development” mode and not “Live”
    3) That you selected the correct app and Facebook page in steps 14 and 15 of those directions

All of these things were set correctly, but in my case the Facebook page ID in the plugin settings was incorrect. I updated that and it worked.

    Thanks for the help guys!

    Hi @ravanh
Thanks for your reply. I have tried setting the options to ‘All in one gallery’, but it doesn’t seem to have made any difference.
If I get the advanced options will that definitely solve the issue?

    Thanks

    Hi Stuart

    Thanks for your email.
It is the WooCommerce plugin that I am using. I have approached WooCommerce support, but they say it can be done with actions/hooks but they don’t provide support for custom coding so can’t help.

I was hoping someone on here might be able to advise.

    Thanks

    Hi Catacaustic

Thanks for your reply, that’s a great help. The redirects are 301’s.
I ran into problems because I was discouraging search engines on the main site as it’s not in use, but that seemed to be blocking the entire domain from being searched.
I’ve unchecked it now so hopefully when re-crawled it will find everything correctly.
But that was what made me wonder if the setup was correct or not.
I didn’t realise that Google sees it all as one site, that is useful to know.

    Thanks again

    Lyndon

    Hi Abenak

I believe you are better to have an individual page for each city as, like you say, it is better for seo to have a separate page for each.

You could also have a landing page with an overview of the different cities that are covered, but then with the ability to navigate to individual pages with more detailed information.

    Hi

So as I understand this you want the ‘News’ link to always keep it’s active state even when the user is on a different page (ie. blog).

Can you explain why you want to do this?

If I’m understanding you correctly the easiest way to achieve this is probably just to add a custom class to the link and style it in the css.

    Hi Carel

Did you resolve this? I looked at the site in Edge and it looks perfect to me.
If you are still having a problem perhaps you could take a screenshot or two of what is wrong and if you could include what device you are viewing it on that might be helpful too.

    Thanks

    Hi Ahir

I don’t have experience of it, but this plugin appears to do what you are looking for and is up to date:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-google-maps

The plugin repository on www.ads-software.com is a great place to start when looking for plugins like this.

    I hope this helps
