In reply to: [View Admin As] No Users FoundThese users do have the view-admin-as and edit-users capabilities. I have checked multiple times.
We do not have a multi-site install so we do not have the manage-network-users capability available for me to give to them.
But they still can’t find the users that do not have capabilities that are less than them.
I don’t want them to view and edit other admins.

In reply to: [View Admin As] No Users FoundThanks you for checking. I need to give the permissions to those that are not super admins. We have staff that needs that functionality desperately. We have staff that need to support staff that manage users and they need to login as them to assist them. We right now have many super admins because they need the view as functionality. But we need only me and one other super admin for security purposes.
I read the documentation and thought that I had given the correct permissions to so they could search for the users.
They all have edit user permissions and they all have greater roles than what they are searching for. The issue is the frist where the users they are searching for are removed from the list.

In reply to: [View Admin As] No Users FoundThey do have edit_users capability and the view_admin_as capability, and view_admin_as_role_defaults. However, when searching for users they can’t find users that are in the system. They enter an email address in the view admin as search box and it says it does not exist. The same for names. But it really does. I can search for the same information and find it just fine.

In reply to: Users ScrambledThe database showed no errors.
WordFence plugin showed that a few files were different, but they were one sentence in a readme.txt file that had to do with which WordPress version the plugins were compatible with.
Would there always be errors if the database crashed.
No caching plugin. We are on a dedicated server and don’t have caching installed. I was going to add one after we get out of development.
We are using Divi theme. We have 14 plugins active. Most I would think would not product a conflict.
We are using Formidable forms that will register people when they fill out the form and redirect them to the next step. But it works seems to work just fine with s2Member installed. That is the only one that appears may be causing any type of conflict. We needed that as when the user creates an account we it appears seamless as part of the form and redirects them to the correct form by state.
Some people have no problem logging in either. But we have had a few that have experienced a long time of being unable to login.

In reply to: CSS Sidebar ProblemsThanks! You were both right. I thought I had checked for missing </div> tags, but in all my trying to fix it I must have missed putting on back in. It must be in the footer perhaps because when I put it back in everything moves back down.
But now that brings up another question…
My goal was to move the featured to the left under the headline section. It now floats again to the right. If I keep the left float in the featured it pushes the side bar down. Without it the sidebar moves to the right.
Just when I thought I was comfortable working with CSS it throws me.

In reply to: panorama theme – hide page titileYes. I haven’t used the Panorama theme, but usually it is simply done by going into the index.php or the home.php and removing the word home and the link in the breadcrumb area.
