Okay, solved. The user should be notified that a name for the contactform needs to be filled in. In my opinion, it should just generate one if none is entered manually.

We are still experiencing the problem. It seems like there a days where all the applications are sent by mail, without any problems. Then there are days, where all the mails seem to get stuck in media.

We have a similar error. Sometimes attachments are sent (with smtp), sometimes they a stored secure (without notification) and sometimes just put in the media library.

The plugin should have a function, that if sending the application fails or saving in secure location fails, the applicant should get message “An error occured, please send in you application via E-Mail”

ok, classic… Due to some other problem I discovered, I deactivated our caching plugin and now it works fine. ?? Thank you very much for your help though!

Do you have any recommendations for Caching/Minify plugins, that work well with your plugin?

the plugin is called TheGem Blocks (for Elementor) and comes with the theme “TheGem”. Unfortuneatly, I think you cannot find it in the plugin search.

I did further testing and figured the error is caused by a plugin with Theme Elements for Elementor.

The problem is, we cannot leave this plugin deactivated because it will destroy the look of the website on frontend.
