This is the MySQL wp_post, guid for the same post:
I confirmed the wp_terms, slug = dvd
and post_name = pull-the-plug-on-dvdIt doesn’t look like an data table issue. It think it’s a server config or path issue.

In reply to: Using subdomains with WordPressJason,
Thanks for the links; that was very helpful. As for the DNS/vHost issue. I don’t see any particular Apache issues; we’ve got our A-records pointing properly, etc. We’re on a dedicated Apache server and have been using subdomains on our other server accounts without a problem. Is there something specific to WP?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Using subdomains with WordPressThanks for all the input. It doesn’t sound like there’s any real issues with subdomains. We’re going to let WP archive the posts in the database as usual. Each subdomain will pull only the posts associated with that subdomain by way of the category.
https://subdomain1.mydomain.com pulls cat1
https://subdomain2.mydomain.com pulls cat2, etc.The only thing I’m concerned about (aside from the other two-dozen things I’m concerned about), is our WP install doesn’t appear to be writing the “post_category” in the wp_posts table. We put in a few test posts and they all have the default “0” category. They are showing up on the default page with the appropriate categories, I’m just not seeing the db entries.
I’m I looking in the wrong place in MySQL?

In reply to: Problem with WordPress URLHey ttremeth,
Thanks for the reply. I’ve read the link previously…so I just read it again. I think the problem is probably that we didn’t:
Copy the index.php and .htaccess files from the WordPress directory into the root directory of your site (Blog address).
I’ll let you know. Thanks again.
