Hi, it started working again after messing with things for a while more. I dont have a theme yet, just using twentyten for now. I see a a complete html page in my source, so I’m not sure what you mean there.

My client likes the plugin but thinks that it needs a list of current users and a way to boot someone.

Yes, Wordtube adds 2 seconds to every one of my page loads. It would be helpful if it did not load where it is not needed

Confirmed… all I did was keep playing with it. No other answer. Something cached… ghosts in the machine. Pay your dues sort of deal.

What a freakshow… I ended up playing around with changing the themes to default and back to my custom theme, resetting the blog url in phpmyadmin 100 times and all of a sudden, my original data began to work… just fine.

You know… what the hell. I can see all the data in the admin yet the public side wont come up. I’m holding out for a simpler way to resolve this. Some htaccess tweak or something.

I’m not sure if that is a solution. It chewed on my categories like an old rag, and left me with more fixes than if I recreated the entire blog from scratch post by post. I think this a good problem for someone qualified to dig into.

Upgraded MySQL and a new version of Redhat and still no dice. My feeling is that this has to do with the way I upgraded the installation.

I have this problem showing up this morning after updating wp to 2.3.2 on a server running mysql 5.0.18

I have another client server running 5.0.41 and it had no problem handling the upgrade. I have a request to my host to upgrade the other machine. I will let you know the results.

I installed WP 2.3 and I can upload iamges just fine. Once uploaded there is no radio button for the thumb. The thumb does not get created at all. The image does get uploaded however so the permissions are fine.

I was really hoping that 2.3 would have better uploading capabilities for the creation of thumbs and that the size of the thumbs would be a admin pref, not the manual editing of image.php

Nonetheless, the thumbs are not even being created.

I have tried to do this on a non wordpress page and while I have the content pulling in fine, none of the plugins still work.

I thought that would work but the MyGallery plugin just shows this: [mygal=celebrities_hz] where the galler yshould be.

The viper quicktime plugin just shows this: [quicktime width=”320″ height=”260″]https://www.domain.com/file.mov[/quicktime]

Thannk for any help. The images and everything else show up fine so I know the database is being accessed.
