I guess you want to show you newest post from home page? you can login your wp admin > settings > reading. you can set it up there.

your database infomation located in your wordpress site root, a file called “wp-config.php”, you just connect it using the db info, no need admin permissions.

check if there’s any place to configure smtp in your eshop, if not, it should be using your wordpress SMTP configurations. you may have to download the smtp plugin to your wordpress and configure it using a valid SMTP server, if you do not have any for your domain, you can try free email service such as gmail. hope it helps.

huh? where’re you trying to install wordpress? on your local or hosting provider account? you have to install mysql on your machine if you install on local or else you need to ask your hosting provider for more.

what’s the file trying to download and what does the error say?

Is that an actual error or prompt message? Most likely you need to have that activex control installed to your browser.

what’s the version you’re trying to install? Do you use iis server or apache?

easiest way would be this:

dumple your mysql database to your machine and open it using notepad then use “find and replace” to replace all domain.com/blog to domain.com and import the sql file to your database.

mod_rewrite should be installed by all linux server by default.

the issue is your wordpress working directory permission related. if you’re using IIS server, make sure to grant “network” this user “RWX” permissions and propagated to all subdirectories. that should fix it.
