In reply to: [Responsive Table Layout] Bug?Hello pbedouk,
Thank you for the information.
Today I had the same issue as you described.
it was not only the auto paragraph functionality that caused it.
I could fix it by making some changes in the plugin.
Those changes are available in the next release.this release will be available soon.
Regards,
Maarten

In reply to: [Responsive Table Layout] Bug?Hi pbedouk,
You can manually replace all <p> and </p> tags with newlines in the text mode of the main editor. (Table Layout editor deactivate)
e.g.
<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nunc congue iaculis tortor nec feugiat. Vestibulum vitae lorem nisi. Integer fringilla aliquet purus, a consequat elit efficitur et. Morbi nibh urna, sagittis eu nisl nec, dapibus varius libero.</p><p> Phasellus tempor tempor placerat. Sed convallis nibh eu dictum finibus. Integer non mollis arcu. Vestibulum felis diam, facilisis eu ipsum at, maximus finibus nunc. Proin mattis urna ut ante gravida, quis ornare mauris pharetra.</p>
becomes:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nunc congue iaculis tortor nec feugiat. Vestibulum vitae lorem nisi. Integer fringilla aliquet purus, a consequat elit efficitur et. Morbi nibh urna, sagittis eu nisl nec, dapibus varius libero.
Phasellus tempor tempor placerat. Sed convallis nibh eu dictum finibus. Integer non mollis arcu. Vestibulum felis diam, facilisis eu ipsum at, maximus finibus nunc. Proin mattis urna ut ante gravida, quis ornare mauris pharetra.
I estimate the new version will be available within a few days.

In reply to: [Responsive Table Layout] Bug?Hi pbedouk,
I got a message the the WP database was damaged while using the table editor
I can’t see any reference to the Table Layout plugin in the log file.
The error is referring to the usermeta database table.
The Table Layout plugin has nothing to do with this table.I should post this issue on the general WordPress forum.
How do I get it back to editable format??
The layout issue is the result of the bug described on this topic.
It is not related to the database. It caused by paragraph tags that are included in the main WordPress editor. those tags were written by older versions of the plugin that had wpautop disabled for the post editor.
In version 1.5.4 I decided to enable it cause of layout issues when including shortcodes form other plugins.
In some cases the paragraphs are still remaining.
I am writing a script to replace those paragraphs with newlines.
WordPress will add them automatically when displayed in the front-end.This issue will be fixed in the next release.
Regards,
Maarten

In reply to: [Responsive Table Layout] Bug?Hello pbedouk,
I found something that causes the issue you mention.
The problem occurs when the automatic generation of paragraphs and line breaks are disabled (wpautop) for the main post editor.
Responsive Table Layout only works well when wpautop is enabled.
you can check this by clicking the ‘Text’ tab next to the ‘View’ tab.
if you see
<p>
and/or<br />
tags in the textarea wpautop is disabled.Responsive Table Layout enables wpautop by default (is also the WordPress default)
but a theme or other plugins can overrule this setting. Can you check if you find those tags?
Regards,
Maarten

In reply to: [Responsive Table Layout] RTL effects Layout of regular Posts with ShortcodesHello burnuser,
I disabled the automatic generation of html paragraphs and newlines.
The WordPress editor also does not include them by default. The plugins mentioned above (and maybe many more) are not expecting those elements.
The issue if fixed in the latest available version (1.5.4)
Greetings,
Maarten
