Resolved – found the info in the usage section. But now I have another related question:

If there is no “time” because it is an all day event, the line break leaves a gap between the subject and the location that I don’t want there.

I tried using before=”
” on the event_starttime tag. Didn’t work. And using after=”
” on the event_subject tag.

Any other solution I’m missing?

The site is using the Twenty-Ten theme, no modifications. The only other plugin is WP-Table Reloaded. I’ve tried turning that off, no change.

Unfortunately the host is not going to upgrade until after the first of the year. Moving would take several days with the size of the site and is pointless to do if the upgrade is going to happen in less than two months.

In the mean time — I’m stuck with a non-functioning “Events” page on a busy site.

It might be helpful to others if there were a warning that the upgrade DOES NOT work with PHP 4.

Not able to upgrade – is there a fix for php 4 users?

Having same problem – include, exclude, and orderby are not working for me in 3.01.

I had the same problem until I noticed that the theme I’m using was not listed as the Current theme (Appearance > Themes). For whatever reason the upgrade to 2.9 turned that off.

Reactivate your theme, templates dropdown should show up again.
