@ppribeiro – really sorry about this. We debated internally about automatically migrating users to the 2.0 DB version, however, it was not a great idea after all.

The upgrading process uses AJAX and for people with a TON of galleries (think 500 and more), it would have certainly crashed, especially on plugin_update hook.

The way we considered doing it was, to give the user the possibility of deciding if he/she wants to actually upgrade to the v2.0 database.

I’m sorry you didn’t write to us, since none of your v1.x galleries were actually removed. The old DB is still there, V2.x just copies over the old galleries and updates them into a new DB entry.

this will get addressed shortly. It looks like we went a little overboard with escaping on the frontend :/

For people who can’t wait until this get released, please just downgrade/revert to the previous version. The only differences are the extra security improvements that have actually broken a few things ˉ\_(ツ)_/ˉ

and see if this fixes your issue? We’ve rolled out quite a big-ish update and it looks like we might have broken something. We went a little overboard with sanitization and escaping …

We’ll roll out a bugfix update early next week. We’ve added a lot of sanitization / escaping functions so most likely, some of those are breaking functionality.

@cgscomputers – we’ve only updated the plugin’s readme, included a copy of the GPLv3 license as well as the plugin’s headers.

The next minor release of this plugin will also have a version bump so you’ll get these files as well.

I didn’t see a good reason to version bump right now and do another version bump within 1-2 days.

@dhoffmann – Hi Daniel,

as you can probably already guess, you’ll loose that custom code ?? However, I’ll look into getting the team to implement a filter for this, that can be applied from inside a theme’s functions.php file so that, on plugin updates, this doesn’t get lost.

I’m having a real hard time figuring out how to test this at my end, since it’s worked fine every time I tried testing it.
