To display the family tree on a page just place in the page the following code:
    [family-tree root="name chosen"]

That’s ok, thank you for the consideration. Just to close the topic I would like to explain that this rarely needed situation occurs when we have a photo album of objects (e.g. oil paintings, heirlooms). Comments below a photo refer to an object, not to the specific photo as such. After we get a better quality photo we want to replace the old one with the new one leaving all the comments below, thus deletion is not an option. We’ll try to love FTP for now ??

    Best regards,
    MM

Thank you for the explanation. Now I see why this feature is not available. Please allow me a few words of polemics.

Right, capability of easy replacing a moderated image means moderation is useless… if you leave its ‘Publish’ status unchanged. If you treat the new image during replacement as NEW then you can change the status to ‘Pending’ thus moderation still works and the user (photo owner) cannot bypass moderation by replacing the image. This is needed (status change) only if the moderation is enabled in Table VII B4. Note that if moderation is disabled there is no moderation problem ?? The same in case the admin wants to replace a moderated image, admin cannot moderate himself so the problem does not exist also.

    Best regards,
    MM

    Glad to hear, Fritz ??
According to the second issue I only guess that it might be something around Table I C settings. I can see in the source code of your web page that the div element causing the problem has “height:230px”. Look at your settings if you have specified size 230 pixels over there and play with it. Good luck!

I found wppa_theme-de_DE.po in the langs-folder – i made the changes and don’t see it on the website. Is there another file that controls that?

Run the Poedit editor (https://www.poedit.net), open the wppa-de_DE.po file in it, translate sentences, and save changes. While saving the changes the wppa-de_DE.mo file will be generated. This is the file (.mo) you must place in the langs folder to see your translation.

    Hello Hans,

I recommend you to download the Poedit editor (https://www.poedit.net), then open the wppa-sv_SE.po and wppa_theme-sv_SE.po files (located in /wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/langs), improve Swedish translation of any sentence and/or add new Swedish phrases, save the files. While saving the .po files the .mo files are generated. After you upload these .mo files to the langs directory of the plugin your improved translation will be used ?? You can also consider sending well translated Swedish .po files to OpaJaap’s mailbox so he can include them in a new version. I did that with the Polish .po files.

Thank you for the explanation! Now I begin to understand how it works, I hope.

The sentence: … Warning: Do not upload copyrighted material! … can only be automaticly corrected in the default of Table II-B20.

That’s fine for me. I found this sentence in the .po file so based on that I was guessing that it should have been translated even before modifying Table II-B20. So probably this entry may be removed from the .po file then ??

    Hi OpaJaap!

The complete Polish translation of the .po files has been sent to your mailbox. The files contain the translated sentences added in version 4.9.4 also.

Recently, while using your great plugin I encountered a few sentences not being translated in a browser or email, though they are translated in the .po files. These are:
    * “Photo successfully uploaded” – after upload from frontend (no entry in the .po file)
    * “<span style=\”color:red\” >Warning: Do not upload copyrighted material!</span>” – on admin page
    * “You receive this email as administrator of the site” – in email
    * “You receive this email as owner of the album” – in email

More tests… After removing CR (\r) from the end-of-line marks which I found in the wppa-functions.php file all UTF-8 characters are displayed properly in my emails, including those in the subject! So there is no need to embrace the subject width =?UTF-8?Q? and ?= … strange, but working ??

    Thread Starter Mover MM

    (@maciej-matysiak)

Wow! 4.9.3 already! ?? I just installed it and entered some test comments…

Email notifications contain new headers but UTF-8 characters still are not displayed properly. I took a look at a raw email message and probably found the cause. Two headers have wrong end-of-line marks:
    1. MIME-Version: 1.0
    2. Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
These lines end up with CR+LF (Windows) instead of LF (Unix).

One more thing. I am not sure, probably to display properlly UTF-8 encoded characters in a subject line it shoud begin with =?UTF-8?Q? or =?UTF-8?Q? and end up with ?=

After moving sentences among .po files now email sentences are being translated ?? Great! Thanks. I guess the rest of Polish sentences I should enter to new .po files and send them back to you, right?

Sounds good! Thank you. Sure, I will test it and let you know of results.

Polish .po files have been sent to your mailbox. They are not completely translated yet, but I am going to send you the complete translation soon.

    Hi OpaJaap,

the same here. After upgrade, if I click a photo on the recent comments widget then my last 20 photos page is called (my setting – table VI 7 b) displaying the selected photo from the widget. When I enter a comment the page is reloaded, then only Breadcrumb with Start/Stop slideshow bar is being displayed followed by the empty rectangle (no photo, no comments). The comment typed is not added to comments of the photo.

If I navigate to the last 20 photos page directly from menu and click the same photo then there is no problem, I can add a comment to the photo. Also, there is no problem during regular slideshow in a selected album. It looks like only the linking from the recent comments widget causes the problem.

I don’t use the Google Analytics plugin.

    Regards, MM
