thanks for answering and for this plugin ??
As you say, in a “perfect world” this should be the ideal condition but I cannot help on this because I’m not a skilled dev and don’t have a method to scan js files.
What can I see is that if I test a site with i.e. GtMetrix, it shows me a list of used js files, so for sure a method exists but I don’t know which one.
Hope that somebody can help, because could be really useful to easily substitute js scripts, meanwhile I’ll try to manually find them from the list.

Actually I agree with Acrogenesis, what would be useful is a scan on js in WP installation, compare with CDNJS archive and present to admin saying: “These scripts, used in your installation, are available in CDNJS repository, want you replace them?”.
Seems completely useless, time consuming and newbies confusing show the whole archive without know what effectively it’s used in that installation, don’t you think so?
This is not a critique, only an advice for future upgrades.

Exactly ??
Could be a visual editor, could be a shortcode generator where to select taxonomy,fields or group of fields and place in a layout.
One way could be a section in your plugin, where to create a page template:
1) select a custom post type
2) copy theme single.php or archive.php and rename as single-custompost.php
3) add, via SC or D&D elements to this layout (allowing insertion of HTML to customize)
4) allow template choice to page or post

This could drastically improve usability of plugin and boost up use/sells.

One consideration: all similar plugins do the work but when is the moment to display results in front end (that is the purpose of the work) obliges to learn how to code, because seems that for devs this is a simple job.
But if a user knows how to code a template, probably doesn’t need a plugin to create custom code/tax/fields, he’s able to code by himself, don’t you think so? ??

Actually, there are other (only few) specific plugins that retrieve custom elements and build a layout’template, both for free and for fee but are in any case separate and not always works well, to have a comprehensive plugin that does all work should be indeed better.

I figured out something… this plugin isn’t compatible with PHP 5.4.+.
Switching to PHP 5.3.+ made it working

So have to be a problem with my theme as when I set the fixed height all that I obtain is a one column image but with that height and cropped, not multi column.
We will continue this conversation via email because seems a particular problem, not common one.

I also have empty screen after updated to 1.4.2 (well not completely empty, header and page title are there but all page content, also text before shortcode, aren’t, so does the rest of page).

I tried to de/reactivate, un/check plugin CSS use, change shortcode, resave all settings and page, but nothing.
In administration all works fine, only when go to show list it doesn’t works and, of course, if I delete the shortcode, all the rest works fine.

But in my case I tried, before update, on a local copy of the same installation and it was working, so I did on production site.

The only thing (I think) that changes between the two installation is PHP that in local (working) have PHP 5.3.5 and in main site (not working) have PHP 5.4.42.

May be, but if you can simply multiply the events and assign an ID to each one (or assign to other custom posts type), to manage different events with shortcodes, will be easier and more modular ??

Now I know that CampTix is compatible with WPMS, I didn’t tried yet but good to know.

Anyway WPMS isn’t the scenario about what I tought asking for this feature.
What I would like to see is capability to manage multiple events between the same site, not each separate event and I explain one typical case: a school that organizes courses and for each course need to manage attendees, tickets and so on, all Camptix already does.

What need, in this case, it’s the ability to set multiple events in option page or, may be, ability to assign them to custom posts types like calendar ones.
