I’m interested on this good plugin too but not tied to posts, should be better to have its own custom post type or option to assign a post type, even if in Pro version.
What about?

Sent firsts quick tests on tracker and translated italian version that was full of mistakes.
Where can I send the translation when will be finished? (mine it is but there are some strings missed on original translation file, also tracked, so I wait for the definitive english version).

I have italian translation ready and tested but don’t know where to send

I don’t know which plugin is imageareaselect as didn’t found not even as part of PTE or AdRotate or others.
Anyway, I deleted and reinstalled PTE 1.0.2, deleted all caches, site and browsers ones but the alert is the same.
The image selection/cropping works well and are correctly shown in two columns.
If you have a patch to try please send it to me and I’ll test asap.

Unfortunately I spoken too early.
I tried the combination PTE and AdRotate in one installation (test) and all goes well, so I confirmed resolution but after I tested in another one, practically identical (the first one it’s a copy of the second that it’s online and I use the first one for tests) and this is the new alert content:

1.) Does it happen for all images, or just images with a certain size? What size image can I use to duplicate the problem?

As I said, all images bigger than 4-500px per side. For sure try with an image bigger than 600 px.

2.) What browser are you using?
3.) I’m guessing from your username you’re on a Mac? ??

You guessed correctly, I’m on a Mac ?? but I have tried with Safari, FF, Crhome both in Mac and Windows and results is the same.

Hope that you can solve, both plugins are usefuls, for me.

Hi Eran,
I don’t know if you are already aware of it but there is a problem with apostrophe in fields, when put ‘ it become \’ and each time open the window add a backslash.
I’m using the italian version of this beta.
For me, the rest works smoothly.

I think that the button is still disabled because no selection (crop) area has been set which brings up an interesting point. Maybe I’ll try to style the button such that disabled is obviously red and the enabled button is green…

May be better to change phrase to something like “still no cropped image” or, in alternative, when a thumb is selected, the cropping area automatically appear on source image?
Only an advice, this plugin is great ??

this is a beta release and anyone can translate this plugin, indeed, I would encourage you to make corrections to the translations and email them to me.

Of course, Eran, but I see that there is already a translator so my warning was for him because what I’ve written is a typo that can pass unobserved.
I’m sure that he will update translation successfully.
In case he doesn’t want anymore or doesn’t has time, I’ll be happy to update it, just let me know.
Also, I tried to edit .po file with poEdit but it’s impossible to open it, very weird, I usually do it without problems.
In any case, thanks a lot for your work, AEC is very useful, miss only minicalendar ??

+ 1 for minicalendar widget ??

Installed and all seems fine, also ajax is faster than before.
Italian translation need some light upgrades and there is some typo here and there like on menu “Dettagio Attività” instead of “Dettaglio Attività”.
A good work ??
