OK, the cron was not running. I found that a plugin was stopping the cron jobs. Once I disabled the problem plugin, I was able to run all of the cron jobs. Thanks so much for the quick help and resolution. I had already manually deleted a bunch when I finally figured out this had been ongoing for months and would be a huge undertaking. I quickly fixed it now. Thanks!

I’m not sure if it was anything I did specifically, or if it just started working again, but after 24 hours of working on this, items will now finally show up in the checkout cart again. I deleted and reinstalled some files, and suddenly it is working it seems. Hoping it is not sporadic and doesn’t come back again.

The problem is still occurring. It is strange in that it appears to be driven by my IP address? It works for me, but if I change my IP address, I get the error and everyone else gets the error. If I change back to my home IP address, I have no issues and it adds to the cart? Any other IP address seems to get the error?

While trying some of the suggestions in the support documents to correct this issue, I inadvertently damaged something else on my site. I could not gain access to the backend, so I had to do a backup to restore the site. Upon completing the backup, the purchase button is now working? I’m at a loss for what was going on and I hope the backup corrected the issue permanently. I will post back here again if not.

Is SendWP dead? My emails suddenly stopped forwarding by them and they have removed all contact information from their website. No one seems to be responding to this support forum either? What’s going on?

I am using WP Send, and after speaking with them, I think the issue is on their end and they are working to correct it. I will come back and update this if that does not solve my issue. Thanks for your help.

I think I have narrowed this down a bit. Since it is so sporadic, there could be another issue still, but one of the reasons I am finding is that the user pays with one email, but they enter a different email into the user account, so the IPN is not crediting the account. I assume this is the problem, since I am finding that the account has a different email address entered than the one used to pay with?

Is there a work around for the email issue, or can the software apply a warning message or something if they enter a different email than the paypal email?

The plugin has worked well for me and performs exactly how I would expect with this small exception. It always seems to happen when I can not get to a computer quickly as luck will have it, so people get frustrated that they paid and can’t get access.

Yes, since I am getting success, the payment is obviously being credited. The order just shows no user name, even though the user is creating one. I can go find the user account once they tell me the user name. I just end up having to credit one of every 10 or so signups manually and they have to wait on me to get access. It’s very random, but it is consistently random and continues to happen once or twice a week.
