Seems to work, thanks! I’m a Pro user, should I remove “EU/UK VAT for WooCommerce”?

Not sure if the download @web13 offered supports Pro users. I how have two plugins (3.0.1 and deactivated 3.1.0). If 3.1.x is released, I should probably only have the Pro version?

Also, my WordPress has auto-updates enabled so it will probably break again soon enough. I hope the fix will be there soon enough for me to have to dive in deeper and disable auto-updates.

The error messages were on top of my admin panel – everywhere I went.

With version 2.9.2 active on a testing site, I just noticed some more PHP 8.2 deprecated-issues. Maybe these are not new but show up due to a difference in WordPress error logging. Here they are:

I’ve located the code that causes the issue and will work on it. It is code to preserve the url parameter over pages:

I’m using a child theme based on theme Neve with plugins:
* Jetpack
* Maintenance
* WP-Matomo Integration
* Yoast SEO
* Some WPML plugins, along with Contact Form 7 Multilingual

Justed tested at your site with a parameter and it does work over there so it must be something on my site.

If you suspect any of the above, please let me know. Otherwise, I’ll try to disable stuff and see when I get it to work.

Your scope probably makes sense if you view it from a technical perspective. As a plugin user, I can now hide blocks but not menu’s. That doesn’t make sense ?? Can you point me where to file this feature request for incorporation by ThemeIsle where it is in scope? Other plugin, theme, …

Thanks for the heads up! I prefer a single purchase for lifetime updates and support and found EU/UK VAT Manager for WooCommerce a suitable replacement.

My use case isn’t that complicated. I just want to display the VAT field to a business from another EU country so they can exempt VAT by entering a valid ID.

I did put the author to the test and got quick replies and a plugin update. Hope this info helps somebody else compare replacement plugins.
