Just to add my weight to this. Comments stopped syncing as soon as I installed the new version. It works otherwise. It’s stopped me from checking IP numbers that WordPress would tell me that Disqus admin doesn’t let me see.

I guess that once it’s fixed, it’ll catch up with syncing.

I’ll add my voice here too. Same error, and activating the classic editor gave me access to my posts again.

I’ve tried that. The same links works in my test area, but not in my real site.

I’ll switch off all plugins and work back backwards from there.

Tried it – didn’t work. I’ll talk to my hosts about cloud timeouts.

I’m keen to try this. Where exactly should this code be pasted? Which file?

I just had this problem. I isolated it to a snippet of deferred javascript code that I’d just put in my child theme’s functions.php file. Took it out and it was all fine.

GFWA takes its styling from the overall theme CSS. Making a change there will effect every instance in your WordPress site, unless your theme has separate widget styles, and even then, changes to say a widget H2 style will change all widget H2 styles, rather than just GFWA ones.

Still dipping in and trying to find out a way to inject styling into different instances of GFWA on my homepage. I’m thinking that widget CSS classes might work. I’ll report back, but it would be much better if we could specify a CSS class for elements from within GFWA.

I’m in the same boat. I’m logged into my analytics account, but when I try to connect to a profile and grant access, it gives me an error.

It did require a single line of code removing to stop it breaking permalinks. But it’s exactly what I wanted.

Sorry – I meant to say nextpage tag. That works well enough for me, but it’s specifically the menu functionality I’m looking for.

So I had a play, and I should be able to get Lexicon to work. I edited the PHP so that it used the keyword to search my Flickr account, which means Youtube shouldn’t be an issue, not should searching my WordPress blog by keyword either.

Dropdowns can be done with lists and CSS, as seen here with a simple demo here.

The one small issue I have to work through is having a manufacturer link to the keyword. But I suspect I’ll be able to work my way through the plug-in to add a second field and have that as the link in the top of the dropdown menu.

If I’m successful, I’ll let you see the results. Thanks guys for the direction.

Oooh – they’re somewhere close and quite hackable into what I need. I wonder if my long forgotten PHP skills can hack it?

I will thank you Michael. Seeing as you’re a moderator round here and therefore a WordPress expert, this suggests to me that what I’m after can’t be done with anything that you’re aware of?
