Thank you for the reply!
The feature was introduced back in November 2023. If a WordPress user shouldn’t be able to access your Ecwid account, you can limit their access in WordPress Dashboard > Users > Edit user > scroll down to find the ‘Ecwid Control Panel Access’ option.
We informed users about the update in the WordPress Ecwid plugin changelog via this link: Ecwid WordPress Plugin Changelog
Our Help Center has a section where we publish news about all recently released features and improvements to existing ones: What’s new. You can find the update about customizing store access on WordPress in this article: Customize store access on WordPress for your employees.Let me know if further questions arise!
Hello! This is Macy, Ecwid by Lightspeed Customer Care team.
I am very sorry that you don’t see the Ecwid Admin in the WordPress Dashboard. Please try checking the following:- Is the Ecwid plugin activated in the WordPress account > Plugins > Ecwid? If it is deactivated, please click the Activate link next to it.
- Please click on the user icon in the top right corner of the screen > scroll down to the Ecwid Storesection > make sure that “Allow this user to access your store’s control panel and change settings” checkbox is marked. Screenshot: https://ecwid.d.pr/i/5uEt8r
- If you don’t see the Ecwid Storesection on this page, please send a link to your WordPress website to [email protected].
- If the plugin is activated and the “Allow this user to access your store’s control panel and change settings” checkbox is marked, please send a link to your WordPress website and a screenshot from the WordPress Dashboard with the missing Ecwid tab to [email protected].
In the meantime, you can access your Ecwid account and manage the store by logging into the account from my.ecwid.com.
I hope that helps! Please reply to the message if questions arise.
