In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Square SOR inventory not synchingHi @3wpromotions,
I understand you have a product already added both in WooCommerce and Square with the same name and SKU. However, when you change inventory levels in Square, nothing changes in WooCommerce at all. Is everything correct so far, or did I misunderstand you at some point?
Apart from checking the business location settings which @npmgutz already mentioned, I’d recommend to try the following:
– Make sure both
Sync Inventory
andEnable logging
options are selected on the WooCommerce > Settings > Square page;
– Click the Import all products from Square button to make sure the products in both systems are linked:Screenshot: https://cld.wthms.co/cK1PWc
This should update all products in WooCommerce with the latest data pulled from Square.
After the initial sync, any changes made in Square will be pulled back to WooCommerce every hour. If that’s not the case, this might mean there is a problem with the WordPress scheduling system.
Can you please check this and let me know if the problem still persists? If that’s the case, I’ll need a screenshot of an example product settings in both Square and WooCommerce. You can follow the instructions on https://snipboard.io/ to capture and upload the screenshot.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] charge amount does not matchHi @kirbmart,
Thank you for the order details! I reproduced your setup on my test site and ran into the same problem as you. As it turns out, the rounding fix we applied in previous plugin versions didn’t take all possible scenarios into account. This isn’t how the plugin should work, so I really appreciate you’re letting us know!
I’ve let our developers know about this error and am waiting for their feedback now.
If there’s anything else I can help you with in the meantime, please let me know.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Problem with PluginHi @jascarpentier,
Thank you for your patience! I understand you are seeing these logs after running a manual sync from Square to WooCommerce, but the product doesn’t appear in Woo in the end, is that right?
Now that you’re seeing the data of the Kora product in WooCommerce logs, this means that its data was correctly sent from Square to Woo. However, WooCommerce is having some troubles to create a product based on that, possibly due to duplicate SKU, an error triggered in another plugin, etc.
Anyway, I just tested this scenario on my test site & Square account:
– Created a new product in Square;
– Ran a manual import on the WooCommerce > Settings > Square page;
– Went to Products > All Products and saw the new product imported there.If that’s not how your site works, we’ll need to take a closer look at your site products and logs to see what could have gone wrong here. To let us do that, please create a temporary admin account for [email protected], then submit a support ticket at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
Please also include a link to this forum thread in your ticket: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/problem-with-plugin-55/
Thank you so much in advance! I’m closing this thread for now so that we can continue the conversation in a private ticket.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Internet Explorer issueHi @yulina,
Thank you for your patience! I see what you mean. Looking at the checkout page in Internet Explorer, it seems that Square scripts didn’t have a chance to expand a placeholder into an actual credit card field.
Long story short, checkout form fields are first loaded as placeholders, and then Square code loads an actual payment field inside. This way the credit card number can be sent to Square directly, without ever saving it on your own site. This is what happens when I check your site in Chrome, there’s a new page loaded inside each of the credit card form fields:
Screenshot: https://cld.wthms.co/m4nNbZ
Now when I check the same page in Internet Explorer, I can only see the placeholders. There’s nothing inside each of them:
Screenshot: https://cld.wthms.co/CEk1Bm
Where could this difference be coming from? As this problem doesn’t happen on my test site with same Square plugin version, it’s likely one of the errors triggered in Internet Explorer on the checkout page.
You can press the F12 key in your browser, then click on the Console tab to open this view:
Screenshot: https://cld.wthms.co/Fbf71Q
Now the errors I’m seeing on the screenshot above come respectively from:
– Facebook integration code,
– Klaviyo,
– Some anonymous code on the bottom of the checkout page: https://cld.wthms.co/YbQGlmAs this problem doesn’t happen on my site, the next thing you can check here is to see if these errors could come from some other plugin or theme. The test should take around 30 minutes, and you can put your site in maintenance mode for that time. Alternatively if you’d rather avoid experimenting on your real site, you can use a free plugin like WP Staging to clone the whole site and run the test there:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/
Here is how you can check this:
1. Temporarily switch your theme to default WordPress Twenty Sixteen Theme: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/twentysixteen
2. Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and Square,
3. Add some products to cart and go to the checkout page,
4. Refresh the checkout page and see if you can enter any info in the credit card fields this time.If this resolves the issue, then you can re-enable things one or two at a time and refresh the checkout page until it breaks again.
If it doesn’t resolve the issue, please create a temporary Administrator account with the address [email protected], and open a support ticket with us at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
Please also add a link to this forum thread in the ticket as a reference: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/internet-explorer-issue-14/
Thank you so much in advance! I’m closing this conversation so that we can continue it in the support ticket.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Square won’t Sync To woocommerceHi @theblueking,
We just released a new Square plugin version 2.0.5 that includes a fix for the variable pricing problem or other errors you might encounter while importing products from Square.
If some previous product imports failed on your site in the past, they won’t be restarted automatically. I’d recommend running another manual import on the Square settings page:

Please also make sure to select the Enable Logging option below.
If this still doesn’t help, please create an administrator account for [email protected] and submit a support ticket on the page https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
Please also include a link to this forum thread in your message: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/square-wont-sync-to-woocommerce/
Thanks a lot in advance!
I’m closing this conversation here so that we can continue it in our ticket system.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Redirect back to checkout page after Placing OrderHi @dhesse90,
I hear your frustration. I tested this in details today, and couldn’t reproduce the same error even when using the same Divi version on my site. I can still see it on the test site you’ve set up for us though.
As the problem still doesn’t happen on my site, there must be some additional factor present here, and we’ll need to add some debugging code on your test site to see what this could be. I’ve sent you detailed instructions in ticket 2408091 about the next steps and assigned it to our escalation team, so that there will be just a few people working on it, all of whom specialize in this type of problems.
I’m closing this forum thread for now so that we don’t double or lose any information between these two communication channels. The escalation team might take up to 48h on average to respond, but feel free to let me know here if it takes any longer than this.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] ActionScheduler Error – Unable to get rid ofHi @vortac,
Looking at the screenshots you’ve sent, there’s a
Duplicate entry '0' for key 'PRIMARY'
error repeated a few times in Query Monitor. This error means that some database records have ID number 0, which should normally be never used as ID number in WordPress (and here we have several records like this!). Similarly, the scheduled action from the error message you’ve sent above seems to have ID0
as well.We’ve seen problems like this in the past happen after site migration when indexes, foreign keys, and autoincrement weren’t set up correctly in the new site database. Here is an article that explains how you can add these after the migration:
When running this SQL code, you can replace the prefix
wp_
in table names withgut_
which is used on this particular site.Once you fix the foreign keys and auto_increment properties, you can try clearing all database records from
gut_posts
andgut_terms
tables that have ID number0
.If you’re not sure how to access your database or run SQL code there, I’d recommend you reach out to your hosting company for help.
Cheers!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] redirect customer after purchaseHi @ihdumille,
The code snippet sent in @crslz’s last message does the trick for me. If it doesn’t work on your site, this might mean that the function name
redirect
is already used in the theme or plugin code. To make sure this isn’t the case you can try changing it to something unique, such as:function custom_redirect_to_profile_page( $order_id ){ $order = wc_get_order( $order_id ); $url = home_url('/profil'); if ( ! $order->has_status( 'failed' ) ) { wp_safe_redirect( $url ); exit; } } add_action( 'woocommerce_thankyou', 'custom_redirect_to_profile_page');
Cheers!
@lorro this is super impressive! The Brands section of the product page is hooked into
woocommerce_product_meta_end
indeed ??@divavocals this should do the trick:
remove_action( 'woocommerce_product_meta_end', array( $GLOBALS['WC_Brands'], 'show_brand' ) );
Cheers!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Internet Explorer issueHi @yulina,
I understand the Square credit card form is working fine on your site in most browsers, but you can’t input any text in Internet Explorer, is that correct?
I just connected to a Windows 10 machine with Internet Explorer 11, and the credit card fields are looking and working fine:

If that’s not how your site works, can you please send the System Status Report so that we can check your site? You can find it under WooCommerce > Status in WP Admin.
Thanks!
