Thanks for replying,

I tried what you suggested and it didn’t work. All the files for the theme are there, and I’m also having the same kind of problem with any other themes which I download. I have no plugins activated as I’m a new user and changing the theme is the first thing i’ve tried to do.

I think the version installed is 2.0, if this makes any difference?
