I need to add target=”_parent” to all my links,- when visitors click a link on my blog, the url in the adressfield of the browser doesn’t change…I don’t know how to do that in the WP settings, so I figured I could access the links through the database…Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: Newbie blogYou’re right…that blue colour does stand out in a bad way. I’ll look into it!

In reply to: Remove underline from links“Underlining is the default when no text-decoration is specified”
See, that is one valuable piece of information I didn’t know about (among many many other things)….I haven’t found a single site on the net, where it’s stated that by default links are underlined….Anyway ??
I’ll see if I can get the underlined links removed…the underline that is…Thx.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Remove underline from linksWell, I’ve got no problem finding a:link in the file, but I hope we can agree that there’s nowhere in the file where it says text-decoration…..
I think I’ll follow your advice and remove the a:link and a:visited, and specify them myself up top….
Thx for helping arghnoname ??Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Remove underline from linksMamabean: that’s what’s making me a bit frustrated. I spend most of last night looking for that part, but it’s nowhere in the WP-layout.css-file. I’ve looked in nearly all of the files in my Wp-folder on the server, but nowhere is there a place where it’s says “text-decoration”.
Could it be called something else..like ul or em?
Nuclearmoose: I had already visited W3Schools.org CSS tutorial, and it indeed is a great place to learn about css :-)…unfortunately it didn’t help me with this…
Since there’s no sensitive information in the file I’ve upload the wp-layout.css-file:

In reply to: Problems again…sigh…newbieRegarding question no. 2:
Problem solved!
When I initially entered the admin area, I was using the Safari browser for Mac OS X. Apparently, all I had to do was to login into my WP admin area and create a new user. Whenever I want to access the admin area now from within Firefox, I have to use that new username and password to login. I cannot use the username and password I use whenever I…ehhh…use Safari…(that came out sounding funny).
Why that is, I do not know…
Anyway..thx for all the input..much appreciated!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Problems again…sigh…newbieRegarding question no.2: The img- and link-quicktags doesn’t work in _any_ browser (OS X).
