I have also noticed the same IP address recorded for all user.
In my case I use cloudflare, and the IP recorded is that of cloudflare for all users.
Is there a way to get users’s real IP instead?

Actually “Role Capabilities” shows when hovering the Users menu from any other page but those under Users.
However once the Users menu is selected (menu expanded in the dashboard’s left sidebar) there is NO more “Role Capabilities”.

Are you able to replicate this?

Kevin, FYI:
I just updated the production site from v1.5.3 to v1.5.6. and see the Users > Role Capabilities properly, as it should.
The above issue was with a staging site, with multiple stuff I’m testing.
Not worth investigating further I think.

WP 4.3.1., single site, super admin.

I reverted back and forth several times between 1.5.3 and 1.5.6. to confirm this again and strangely my Users menu showed “Role Capabilities” with both after reloading the page.
It used to show “Capabilities” with v1.5.3 and nothing was show with v1.5.6.

It shows fine now with 1.5.6. so I stick with this latest version.
I also keep this in mind and will monitor this when updating to a future 1.5.7.

Rolling back to 1.5.3 works fine.

Just forgot about it because the 2 above redirect issues are also relate to Hide Login Area and major ones to me. I create a separate topic then.

I have 2 redirects that no longer work when Hide Login Area is enabled. When I disable it, the redirect work fine!

1. In the loop:

<a href="<?php echo wp_login_url( get_permalink() ); ?>">blablalba</a>

redirects to homepage instead of to the define url.

2. In my functions.php:

function redirectToHome(){

}

Logging out reloads the same page, while it should be redirected to home page.

Any idea of how to fix this?

I have the same issue.

My redirects no longer work after enabling “Hide Login Area”
Disabling this feature makes the redirects work again.

Any fix for this?

Yes, latest version for both.

The shortcode seems to be right, so the issue may be caused by an empty $user_login variable. Strange.

Thinking about it, I’m also using this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-email-login/ to allow users to login with their email address.

I’ll try to see if there might be a conflict.

Btw, Are you able to replicate this issue?

I’m also getting the

ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.

at every login attempt.

I first thought this might be a caching issue, but clearing cache and disabling my caching plugin didn’t help.

Users can only login if I disable “hide backend”.
So that’s a pitty this feature is not usable for me right now.

Any fix to this?
