OK, then we have a web and email hosting with the same provider, but the e-mail host is set up to transfer the hosting to Hotmail. I have to chnage those settings.

Contrafort.net is not invalid. The website is up and running, and we have a hosting service. Only the e-mail service is disabled because it was transfered to Hotmail. I’ve learnt that I can disable the Hotmail account directly through the hosting service. I might do that.
If my client doesn’t want to lose the hotmail account, I’ll ask what’s the hotmail address behind the alias, and see if it works.
