Thanks for your input Diarog!
The problem has been solved — it appeared that the SIteground hosting caching plugin was causing the issues (despite manually clearing the cache each time before testing the site). We just turned it off for that page and it solved the issue.
Hello,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, it is translated in full, because the first time you click it, it is in Japanese, and then you click away and click back, and it reverts to English.
I will open a support ticket, thank you.
Hello,
This is still an issue.
We have tested on multiple browsers, on multiple machines, and in multiple geographic areas.
I have tried recreating the Contact page, and it is still an issue.
When you go to the page and click the contact link, it goes to the correct page. But then if you try to go to another page, and then go back to the contact page, it always comes up in English.
I have created a screen share video that shows exactly what we are going through: https://www.loom.com/share/840ad09c142e483f82ffc0628159117c
Hello Alex,
I have cleared my local cache as well as the site caches, multiple times.
I just checked again, a few times…and for whatever reason, this seems to actually ONLY happen when I use an incognito window (Chrome) to check it.
Very odd…
Same here — must have been some recent update/conflict.
The dev console shows the last number increasing by the second, infinitely….some coding issue I suspect.

Same here. Looks like a URL that your plugin configuration file has a link to is hacked with malware (the Vonino tablets EU homepage).
Not much we can do about it except hope that they get their act together and remove the malware off of their homepage ASAP!

In reply to: Unable to edit themes after 4.9 or 4.9.1Thanks for your reply @derrickr!
Unfortunately, yes, am on shared hosting, so that won’t work in my case. Hope it helps others though!
And what would your custom post type be/how do I get that new template to be used in the FAQs?
Usually with pages (although I know your FAQs are classified as posts, technically), you can just choose the template over to the right side of the screen…
Will do, thanks.
UPDATE: actually, nothing got fixed — it just created more errors, on more pages! haha
Back to square one…
UPDATE: added exceptions for the Javascripts:
https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0.js
https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-form-latest.js
https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-mustache-latest.jsto the Fast Velocity Minify plugin and that seems to do the trick! Thanks for the assistance.

I’m using a similar concatenation/minification plugin called Fast Velocity Minify.
I can input files to not minify in the plugin options — which I’m guessing would fix this issue — but not sure what files/paths to put there… (like, what file does this refer to: amp-mustache extension .js script ?)

Got it — thanks!

In reply to: Unable to edit themes after 4.9 or 4.9.1Same issue — trying to edit header.php (and other files, such as CSS, etc.) using the WP editor and I get the same error. What’s up WordPress team? This seems to be a common issue after the 4.9 update… :/
