I can confirm that it worked after I deleted the events in the trash. So thats a bug that need to be taken care of.

When looking in the database it seems like the calendar fetch events that have post_status = Trash. Do I need to permanently delete them in order for them to not be displayed in Outlook?

I copied the new checked in version (2.80) from github and created the file even-calendar.php, I then placed that file in my-child-theme/sportspress folder. But I did not use the format=”friendly”. If I do that then it works :).

Yes I have a child theme and I have placed the file where you mentioned but the fix does not display friendly games

Ok, found it now but should that file be placed directly in the path you mentioned (/your-child-theme/sportspress/) and then both friendly and competitive games should be displayed?
