In reply to: [WooCommerce] Update 5.7 spoiled my siteAnd the latest finding of the 5.7 havoc is I lost all Downloadable file links from all the “Products”. I have hundreds of links in the products and all gone. So, experts… by and large it is a disaster. I am not sure it can be restored by a fix from the team. Only host will help if they have backups.

Then it is a BIG BIG problem for me as I have created more than 100 exams as products. Please clarify how it effects PRODUCTS sections of the Plug In?

The update is still at “Step 3 of 6” and running same for the past 5 hours. Does it impact Products also or just settings? Pls clarify, dear authors of plug in.

I have enabled “Allow using redirect mode (insecure) as a last resort” and found it is working fine. Is this a permanent solution? OR any issues will be there as you said there might be a problem at server end? Pls clarify.

I have just checked this thread:
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/30288That is saying something wrong with woo commerce version. Is it solved? Why many people are complaining of same issue here if it’s solved?
They have mentioned Redirecting as temporary workaround until woo commerce find a permanent solution. Is that not right? Pls enlighten so that I will raise the issue with my host.
Generally host complain on plug ins…
