I see, so in other words, if i add a new section in the menu, i have to replace the xml file, correct?
even if you have an update for the plugin, i believe i have to replace the xml file and re-organize the menu?

Question 2: will there be a fix in the next release, or this is something purely from the polylang plugin side?

I’ve followed your instruction, and it solved the problem.

Here’s a funny thing, after I deactivated / reactivated the Polylang plugin, i’ve noticed that there is a new version of it that was out today

So i reverted back to the original wpml-config.xml file and tested it and it seems to be working too

So i’m not sure if the update fixed the issue coincidentally or if it’s the cache playing tricks, so i tried with a different browser and it seems to be working too.

Here’s the thing, yesterday i was trying the food and drink menu plugin with a new wordpress installation to figure out the problem, of course it didn’t work, but today, without replacing the xml file, it’s still not working even though it has the latest polylang version.

So, could you verify from your side if the new polylang update fixes the issue without replacing the xml file, or still need to replace it?

Just to make sure i’m not hallucinating ??

As per their incompatibility list, it looks more from their side

As for the Duplicate Post plugin, i’ve tried that, it helps a little bit, the only flaw about it, if there is a gallery image in the post, it doesn’t keep it in the duplicated post. but it’s better than nothing

Thanks for the info, that works very well.

One thing, is to duplicate the content of a listing content (and this apply to pages, posts…) instead of starting filling the content from scratch.

Specially for the listing in my case, a lot of the listing info, such are price, address… and images are the same

I’ve googled around noticed that some people have the same problem, not necessarily for the listing, more for the pages and posts, and somebody provided a work around for it (haven’t tested it)

I have the same problem but I’m using the Page Builder by siteorigin.com

Wondering if you can add the Page Builder plugin to the list.

Another issue is when using the plugin to add taxonomies translation in some plugins, it doesn’t display the translation properly, it shows it wrapped with the translation tags: [:en]English Text[:fr]French text[:]

I find adding the style in 2 different files is a bit not practical, the @import is better

Even though, I’ve added the @import in the theme style.css didn’t do the trick (I’ve made sure that the path of the editor-style.css is the correct one)

Anyway, I’m using the custom css plugin, so I just add styles there, of course it won’t be accessible in the format ddl.

I was wondering if it’s possible in the next release to add more font sizes, say up to 72px. Before updating the plugin to the latest version, I’ve added extra sizes in the tinymce-advanced.php, which worked fine, but of course after updating to the latest version all gone.

The reason, it’s sometimes want to use bigger font size for the heading tags on the home page, but not on the other pages

If the editor-style.css worked, that wouldn’t be a problem

You can use the qtranslate-x plugin

It translate big part of the plugin

Plus you have to generate a po file using poedit for the language in question or you can download the “loco translate” plugin to generate a po file in wordpress admin
