In reply to: "Couldn't find database wpstats_db" errorThat is not in the themes header.php file – it is only generated dynamically when the plugin is active. Just an FYI.

In reply to: "Couldn't find database wpstats_db" errorI think this might have to do with the WP Super Cache plugin if you have that installed. Here is what I did and it went away. FYI if you do a search on the error there are over 31 thousand sites affected. Anyway, the first thing I did, because I saw a lot of people suggesting it had to to with Akismet I deactivated and removed that plugin and installed Spam Free WordPress instead. That did not stop the error, so I am not sure that is the problem. So, then I looked at the WP Super Cache plugin and did the following:
1. Clicked on Delete cache from the setting page.
2. Deactivated the plugin
3. Re-Activated the plugin and reset the settings
4. Clicked on Delete cache again for good measure and the warning went away.I am not sure if this works for everyone but these were the things that helped me, this is the only site I am seeing the problem on, and I don’t have WP cache on all my sites, so cannot test if this is a solution that can be replicated.

In reply to: RSS feed’s not workingI just had a site that had a problem with the feed and figured out the problem. I would start by turning off all your plugins and then turning them on again one by one – testing the feed link before turning the next one on. Sideposts Widget was causing a problem on the site I had.
An easy way to test the feed is at https://friendfeed.com/api/feedtest It does not tell you what is wrong but it is quick. FYI Sideposts widget was adding a second feedlink to the headers and causing it to break.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Help installing new theme (please…)The best way to see if the style sheet is missing is to open up the zip file and see if you have a file called style.css if it is there then the template is fine.
Did you unzip the files before trying to upload?
FYI you can upload these to your Godaddy account, just go to Hosting -> select Manage Account for the account you want to add the theme to ->in the hosting control area click on the dropdown, ‘content’ (at the top) and go to FTP client. This will open up two sets of files, one on your computer and one on the GoDaddy server. Navigate to your saved themes file on your own computer, then navigation to wp-content->wp-themes and using the arrow upload the theme folder to Godaddy. Now you can go to your themes are in WordPress and set the new theme up.
