Well I got my answer. I deleted the semicolon and got this error on my site:

How can this be fixed?

No, this is something to do with 3.9. I’m having the same problem, and I see LOTS of other people having the same problem since the 3.9 update.

WordPress needs to address this, LOTS of people are getting this, and it’s ALL since the 3.9 update.
