In reply to: Twenty Eleven Theme – Rotating _custom_ headersI made a new child theme with TwentyEleven as parent, and have activated it. How do I now make rotating custom headers? At this time, my child theme’s folder contains a style.css, comments.php and footer.php
Thanks!

In reply to: Twenty Eleven Theme – Rotating _custom_ headersOk, thanks. This brings up another question: Will theme upgrade notifications immediately upgrade my child theme as well? Or, do I have to make a new child theme each time there is an upgrade?

In reply to: Error establishing a database connection (again)After upgrading to 2.1, I’ve encountered the same message over and over again any time I try to login or access the blog at all. Everything else on the site works, except for the WordPress database. My host tells me everything is fine with my account, but they’re checking again.

In reply to: Links from the Links ManagerHave you tried running the WP upgrade? I had the same issues when refreshing my page before running the upgrade. Once the upgrade took, all the kinks ironed themselves out.
The other option is simply to delete all of your core files and reinstall WP.

In reply to: 2.1 RC1 link/blogroll problemJust log out, log back in and upgrade your database just like you did the first time you installed WordPress. Once the upgrade takes, you’re in business. Also make sure that you have done a clean install. Actually going in and deleting all old files and replacing them with the new content helps.
