It was a very big warning but since changes had already been made I had no options. I hit roll back once and nothing happened, probably because in January I got no communication to say update payment details on an old card.
I clicked the link followed the process (which stated nothing about trying elsewhere first) starting with BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP, which became the second backup in 4 hours and the reason why I have successfully restored my website to working.
The rating remains, lack of communication (GDPR OR NOT) a simple email to unverified users to remind them to verify, you sent emails when a payment was made so could have been courtious to do same.
I saw no video probably due to lack of communication and still ruined hours of work. 1 star not just for the shocking work done by you guys but also for the persistent and blatent disrespect shown to a customer.

Well, of course, you think it’s unfair, it’s your product but I also think it’s unfair that when I installed Geodirectory that I spent countless hours trying to understand, adapt and make it work the way I wanted it to and successfully.
In one day and without warning (for me) you have destroyed it and now I have to spend even more time to adapt and work it all again (well I won’t be because you’ve refunded and licences deactivated, thank you) and pay for the privilege.
Then Paolo hides my comments in the forums and closes the forum thread. Hit home clearly.
Hope you do sort out your issues with version 2. I decided on Geodirectory because it has potential but you’ve gone backwards and very quickly. If I were you guys, work on version 3 immediately and consider the users’ needs, not your own.
The update didn’t fall over and it is not what I am reviewing. I am reviewing version 2 and how it destroyed hundreds of hours of work in a heartbeat.
Bloated as in, no ability to change the layouts with ease and over-riding CSS. Somewhere you have overflows and from I can tell, many of them.
If you are marketing to developers then make this VERY VERY clear because it is not user-friendly.
I’m not a developer, Woocommerce, Tribes Event Calendar and many others have been through major version changes and I have never experienced such an awful upgrade and I have found adapting them very simple.
Several of us are already giving up our time yet again to now looking at options and we believe CPTui and ACF will work better.

In reply to: [Event Rocket] Programming event listOK kinda figured it. Like I say novice.
The only part that dont work is the date_format. Maybe guidance there is possible. Thanks again for your help
function sie_events(){ $thisDate = date("Y-m-d"); $thisDate7 = date("Y-m-d",strtotime("+1 week")); $event_posts = event_embed()->obtain( [ 'from' => $thisDate, 'to' => $thisDate7, 'limit' => '50' ] ); echo($thisDate . " to ". $thisDate7 . "<br />"); // Now you can iterate through the results and do // whatever you like foreach ( $event_posts as $single_event ) { $url = get_permalink( $single_event->ID ); $title = get_the_title( $single_event->ID ); $datd = tribe_get_start_date( $single_event->ID, false, get_option( 'date_format', 'l j F' ) ); echo 'event: <a href="' . $url .
