Syntax highlighting module is better with highlight.js than prism.js. I like that one better.

Only things lacking in highlight.js is:

1. Display Language and Copy Button
2. Inline code – which I will have to test as Jeff said it works. So let’s see.

These two are more important and therefore I
am forced to use prism.js because prism.js displays language and copy code button + inline code. It’s syntax highlighter module is not great compared to highlight.js.

If you can fix these two issues then I will be thankful to you. I understand someone ask this question to you last year and you said you will look into it as it seems achievable.

I understand, but I have seen someone working on this using highlight.js + adding a copy button using clipboard.js. it works fine but it lacks powershell language support. Is it possible for you to add clipboard.js into highlight.js so that we can have a copy code button ?

Also does highlight.js provides inline code option as prism.js does ?

Third final one, I am using prism.js which works fine on the desktop but the code on the desktop does not work on mobile. Code theme works but for mobile there is no language support. Is it by design?

Hey Guys, Where to find the classes to use for each feature selected in settings.

Also, is it possible that i do not have to add the classes to each post where i write the code. Can it not be applied from one central place across whole site where i am using prismatic code block.

I want to show Line Numbers and i do not want to add the class on every post. Please let me know if there is a solution.

Sorry to say but yes it still exists. I have upgraded to the latest version (Version 5.162) and the error disappeared for a while but it came back.

There is a persistent Red Exclamation next to cleantalk on my dashboard. when i click on Cleantalk -> Settings then it shows below error

Same issue.

Please update it in the next version as its really annoying to see red exclamation mark everytime i login on wordpress dashboard.

What version did you try the last time? – I used the one you suggested previously from GITHUB which has -fix in the version.

Also used the latest version downloaded a fresh copy from cleantalk -> Currently using 5.161.1 version.

This is to update you that the issue still persists even though i have not responded on this here for a day and the ticket was automatically marked as resolved.

I have utilized github fix version –> monitored for a day or two –> Error message with Red Exclamation reappears.

I have uninstalled Cleantalk -> Deleted cleantalk from my hosting provider and installed a fresh copy -> Monitored for a day and two –> Issue reappears.

I know the fact that the issue has not fixed for many and you are working on the fix. Request you to please look into this issue as everyday its wasting my precious Hours just to look into cleantalk issue.

I did what you asked and then monitored it for few days. Today, I get below error message and cleantalk plugin is now gone from my active plugin list.

The plugin cleantalk-spam-protect/cleantalk.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

I just updated it but it seems to work for now. This i have tried before, When i delete the plugin and re-install it this works for sometime and then again back to the same thing RED Exclamation mark with error.

Now as i have now updated it using your github link which proivides a version of Version 5.161.1-fix and its asking me to upgrade now to below (this message shows) Not sure if i need to upgrade.

This has been over a week now and this problem is not rectified, I have seen many people raised this but there is no permanent fix. I request you to please fix it permanently in the next version.

I have updated the plugin to most recent version which is 5.161.1. The error does not disappear even after deactivation, deleting and reinstalling the plugin.
I tried to sync with cloud and it works fine for few second before below error message shows up:

I tried as per your suggestions compared the files and even replaced it to match with the github one but still the same issue. I have now moved to a new plugin. Thank you for for the help and support so far.

I have disabled all of my plugins except SLB and changed the theme to Twenty Twenty. Literally running the bare minimum now and still the same issue.

Cache is disabled totally so i think its the plugin issue. I will not be able to keep my site like this for longer so i am switching back the plugins and reverted back to the theme which i was using before.
