This is not an issue with PHP. This function has been there for a long time (PHP 4 >= 4.0.2, PHP 5, PHP 7, PHP 8). The hosting needs to fix their configuration which is breaking and / or could be affecting a lot of apps by blocking these functions.

Find out your existing WordPress version. Download the same to your pc, extract and using an FTP client upload wp-admin and wp-includes folder overwriting the previous ones.

The core WordPress files need to be reinstalled, specifically the wp-admin and wp-includes folders. This will get JavaScript working and you’ll be able to use the plugin.

Thank you for the review and glad our software was able to detect the infection.

Malware scanning is a CPU intensive process. There’s a slider which can be timed to scan lesser number of files to keep the load low.

Thank you for the suggestion, we’ll implement a stop / pause button in the next version. Thank you again for using our software.
