I created a child theme and copied elements from the front page php into page php, when i created a new page with the template, it displayed everything that the front page did… but still no header…

it’s confusing because even by copying word for word everything that’s in front-page.php and pasting the whole thing into page.php it STILL doesn’t display the header.

I’ve undone the changes i made so page php is back to normal, and as mentioned I’ve made sure it’s calling for the header.. but still the header on shows on the main front page…

any ideas?

thanks for the response, I’ve had a look and decided to just leave things as they are, I found a quote that i’m going to use instead, and just leave the logo area in the top left, thanks anyway though…

Hi sorry, I’ve changed the text on the webpage to reflect that it’s still a work in progress.

So where the text now reads “Sorry.” is where I would actually like a logo image to go. the logo isn’t currently on the page because there’s not really anywhere for it to go until I figure out how to get it where I want it.. thanks
