I renamed the WordPress MU folder to WPMU.

If I go to http: //domain.com/wpmu i got this:

Index of /wpmu

* Parent Directory
* wordpress-mu/

Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.7a mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 PHP/5.2.6 Server at domain.com Port 80

If I go to http: //domain.com/wpmu/index.php i got the not found error message.

And if i try to open the index.php file from the directory it opens unlimited empty firefox pages with no name.

How do I do that ?

Thanks for your answer.
But unfortunately it’s not solving my problems.

Because if i redirect to a category, i don’t need sub domains. It’s easier to click directly on the category.

And i’m still going to have a huge list of categories on each page.
Which is a problem cause i’m going to have 20 main categories, and maybe 500 sub categories for some of them.
