In reply to: [Insights from Google PageSpeed] Error when using PHP 7.1 (guzzlehttp)I’m getting the same report. It’s the errors that I worry about as they often contribute to logged-in back-end refresh rates.
Right now I’m getting 18 Warnings and 5 Errors
This one concerns me the most

We can no longer use this plugin and it has been one of our absolute favorites.

In reply to: [WP Multi Network] Deprecated function callThanks for the update here. I’m upgrading to php 7 so I’m sure this will come in handy.
Are you using 1.8.1 from here or are you using 2.1.0 from Git?
Looking forward to your success and sorry for calling you Jeff… lol
I had another browser tab open with a chat going and I guess I got the two ‘functions’ crossed… Ha Ha Ha ??
Thank you Jeff,
I have updated my review to reflect your timely response and to express my sincere appreciation for your help in resolving my concerns. I look forward to using this on all of my sites and appreciate the time you have spent on developing it for us tweaking junkies ??
Have a great day my friend…

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Advanced Issue / help requestThank you for taking the time to respond, sorry for venting my frustrations in public, I normally reserve communications like this to private forums as I know anything can be worked out. That said, I would be happy to share my configuration with you in a more private setting and even compensate you for your assistance if we can solve this. Like I said, this has always been a favorite and one of the more vital application in my library.
In the meantime I will setup a staging site to test this but what I think would be better would be to create a function that would recognize the site/blog ID of the foundation network from which the plugin was activated network-wide. If I have to reset the order of everything each time that might prove to be more work than it’s worth.
I will let you know how this affects the process and see about connecting outside of these forums.
Again, thank you for taking the time to respond, it is appreciated very much.

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Advanced Issue / help requestI see you responded to several people here in the last few days but I don’t even get a courtesy comment? I don’t expect you to run out and solve my the problem I’m encountering but it would be nice to at least know you’re aware of my post. As you can see I spent a great deal of time articulating this.

In reply to: [Code Snippets] MultisiteOK, so I found settings-fields.php and changed ‘Save and Activate’ to true and ‘Show Network Snippets’ to false. And voilà! Now I just need to hide the menu item.

In reply to: [Code Snippets] MultisiteThank you for your timely reply.
I have given this a lot of thought and I would say; if a network owner chooses to “Network” activate the plugin, the settings should only be available from the Network Admin. Most developers who use Multi-Site function do so, so they can have more control over their system.
At the very least “Show Network Snippets” should be (unchecked) by default with another checkbox that says “Make Settings Menu Available to Sub-Site Administrators” also (unchecked) by default. This way you would only be creating one more selection box and if both are unchecked by default that would solve my initial problem.
Right now I can’t activate it or make it available on any network that has existing sub-sites since the majority of scripts are meant to affect the entire build.
I have another feature request and a small budget to go with it but it would be better explained in an email or via skype as it’s more technical.
Could you tell me how I might be able to at least go in and change the code so that when it’s activated, show network snippets is unchecked by default and only visible to the admin that activated it. We don’t want anyone to see it, not even other admin’s who might be grated super-admin ‘elevated’ privileges.
Thank you for your help. I have two Andrew Jackson’s to offer for your troubles ??
I received my activation email and replied to the email you sent me. Thank you…
