In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.Called godaddy back and relyaed that info, This is what he said after he ran some tests: Went over every possible restriction on the server and there’s nothing that should be inhibiting images from being uploaded.
UGHHH!!! What do I do?!

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.This was the next email…
Now when I upload images, they don’t display in the admin area, but they do display in the post when viewing it. This confirms that there is something wrong with the internal WordPress configuration. “There are files that are not being found that are required.I set the permalink structure to default for now. You might mention to GoDaddy about the permalink structure as well. What is actually happening is that whatever I put in the htaccess file is getting automatically stripped out. What needs to be in there is this.
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPressBut it all gets stripped out so that pretty permalinks don’t work.

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.This was an email from prophoto help recently….
I replaced all your WordPress core files and your ProPhoto files. I have adjusted permissions all over the place and run all kinds of tests. I am getting lots of 404 errors telling me that your site doesn’t have access to the necessary core WordPress files. However, everything looks right.It doesn’t matter if ProPhoto is running or one of the default WordPress themes. WordPress cannot find the images that it uploads or the static files in the ProPhoto folder (inside the uploads folder) which are required to display your customizations correctly. Clearly, there is something wrong with your server configuration and/or the way WordPress is set up. It is not just a ProPhoto problem. Something is blocking WordPress from finding the resources it needs.
Based on your first email it sounds like GoDaddy is doing something to limit the activity on your site.
I am still willing to help investigate, I’m just not certain what the best course of action is to take right now. I would go back to GoDaddy with this information, that not matter what theme is active, images cannot be uploaded or viewed.
We have many thousand of customers using GoDaddy without problems like this so I am curious as to what it could be. I would like to bring in one of our developers to look into this problem with me. Can you send me your GoDaddy login info so we can take a closer look in there?
So I called go daddy back….they said let PP go back and look into the error codes on the FTP. Still nothing…

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.Hi Guys, its been a whole week and I’ve tried everything. Been on the phone 5 different times with godaddy. It wasnt permissions, wasnt space. Contacted PP4 for help….they are getting nowhere. Is there anything else you guys think I can try? There has to be a fix. There just cant be no solution. PP tried installing the default theme and switching to other themes, and that wasnt the issue. So it isnt the ProPhoto theme issue. Help!

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.Godaddy said….
My site is creating a high drag on the server with requests. Getting a request of 3 TRILLIAN : 1 on requests.
Negatovely impacting the overall shared hosting environment.
SO….they think its an issue with the ProPhoto4 Theme.
What do you guys think? I hear something different from godaddy each time I call in the last 24 hours. Ugh. I just dont know what to do ??

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.Ok they reiterrated that it isnt permissions, or ownership issue. Might it be a problem with PP itself? What should I do next? Switch theme?

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.So should I start there? Then try switching themes?

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.Ok if godaddy said permissions werent an issue, should I take that? Or should I still try to change them myself? This link….

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.Ok! I feel better about that then. I’ll just ask you again if I get stuck on that part. My backup is just at 79% and stuck there. I do have it send me a backup weekly though, and since I havent made many changes in the last week, I can use the last one if need be.

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.WPyogi, dang….thats what godaddy told me to do ?? Boo. How else do I deal with the space issue? Should I approach that before switching themes. I’m not worried about activating the default, but I’m terrified of not being able to get my customized PP4 theme back :/

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.esmi, this is the whole of what it was saying:
“IMG_0879 L.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error.
The uploaded file could not be move to /home/content/11/7829811/html/wp-content/uploads/2013/06It isnt saying that now though. It seems to upload images, but they have the red ‘x’ where the thumbnail should be and then wont display or anything.
