    Hi Tahmid,

    Thanks for the confirmation!

    Good timing with the release of 6.0.1 today, looks like I’ll upgrade WP soon ??

    Hi Peter,

    No worries, these things happen, that’s why I keep an archive of previous versions for each plugin, so I can revert back easily if necessary!

    Keep up the good work, and thanks again for taking the time to maintain this great plugin ??

    OK thanks!

    OK, sorry for the misunderstanding, I had not double-checked recently that the Editor Plus HTML code would be gone when the plugin is disabled, it was only my experience that it didn’t go entirely when the plugin is disbaled. Of course I do expect it to be there when the plugin is enabled ??

    This is still the case with the latest version, here is what I get when I disable the plugin:

    <!-- wp:group {"align":"full","backgroundColor":"white","className":"eplus-wrapper"} -->
    <div class="wp-block-group alignfull eplus-wrapper has-white-background-color has-background"><!-- wp:columns {"className":"eplus-wrapper"} -->
    <div class="wp-block-columns eplus-wrapper"><!-- wp:column {"width":"100%","className":"eplus-wrapper"} -->
    <div class="wp-block-column eplus-wrapper" style="flex-basis:100%"><!-- wp:columns {"verticalAlignment":"center","className":"eplus-wrapper"} -->
    <div class="wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center eplus-wrapper"><!-- wp:column {"verticalAlignment":"center","className":"eplus-wrapper"} -->
    <div class="wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center eplus-wrapper"><!-- wp:shortcode -->
    [s2If !is_user_logged_in()]
    <!-- /wp:shortcode -->

    <!-- wp:heading {"className":"eplus-wrapper"} -->
    <h2 class="eplus-wrapper" id="contact-us">Contact Us</h2>
    <!-- /wp:heading -->

    I haven’t tried disabling the plugin recently though, maybe it doesn’t happen anymore, please let me check.

    No, this is the code with the plugin enabled.

    Hi Munir,

    Thank you for your quick reply.

    I’m using the latest version of Editor Plus (2.9.8).

    The HTML code for most pages is littered with editor plus customs wrappers, like these:

    <!-- wp:group {"align":"full","backgroundColor":"white","epAnimationGeneratedClass":"edplus_anim-qgrAkz","epGeneratedClass":"eplus-wrapper"} -->
    <div class="wp-block-group alignfull has-white-background-color has-background eplus-wrapper"><!-- wp:columns {"epStylingOptions":{"epCustomColumnsResponsiveEnabled":true,"epCustomColumnsReverseResponsiveEnabled":true,"epCustomColumnsSpacingResponsiveEnabled":true,"epCustomColumns":{"target":"wp-block-column","responsive":true,"hover":false,"options":[{"custom":true,"control":"ColumnToggle"},{"label":"Responsive Columns","control":"Range","attribute":"epCustomColumns","defaults":{"tablet":"2","mobile":"1"},"css":"flex-basis","customValue":"calc(( 100% - ({{Range:epCustomColumnsSpacing:auto:0px}} * ({{value}} - 1))) / {{value}}) !important","props":{"max":6,"min":1,"supportedUnits":[]},"condition":{"query":[{"field":"attributes.className","compare":"IN","value":"ep-custom-column"},[{"relation":"OR","query":[{"field":"viewport","compare":"EQUAL","value":"tablet"},{"field":"viewport","compare":"EQUAL","value":"mobile"}]}]]}}]},"epCustomColumnsReverse":{"target":"","responsive":true,"hover":false,"options":[{"label":"Columns Order","control":"ButtonGroup","attribute":"epCustomColumnsReverse","css":"flex-direction","customValue":"{{value}}","condition":{"relation":"AND","query":[{"field":"attributes.className","compare":"IN","value":"ep-custom-column"},[{"relation":"OR","query":[[{"relation":"AND","query":[{"field":"attributes.epCustomColumns.mobile","controlledBy":"Range","compare":"IN","value":"1"},

    Hi Ruben,

    Thanks, yes that’s what I meant by “manually”.

    I’ll try to see if I can add this in the footer, otherwise I’ll add it at the bottom of every template.

    Thanks again for implementing this, I’ll test and if you don’t hear back from me, it means that all works as it should!

    Feliz Navidad!

    Hi Ruben,

    Thank you! It’s really great you managed to implement this so quickly after our last exchange, much appreciated!

    I had already noticed it and installed it ??

    I already have added the block [gamipress_email_settings] on the course profile page, and it looks great, that’s exactly what we needed ??

    I can’t see however how to add a link to the page in the email template, as I can’t find a new tag that would insert a link, or a place in the settings to specify the page on which we’ve added the new block. Are we upposed to add the link to the page manually in the email itself?

    Am I missing something?

    Hi Ruben,

    As discussed in the other thread, I’ve installed and tried the new free add-on plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/gamipress-ld-points-per-quiz-score/

    This is great and thank you for implementing this, however it has a significant limitation compared to what we’ve discussed in this thread, which is that it seems to be a global setting. You can only decide how many points of each type the user will get with a correct question, but this applies to all the quizzes.

    This doesn’t really work if you have, for example, a difference game for each course, with different type points for each course, because you can’t set it so that the user gets different point types depending on the game they are playing / the course they are following. The way you’ve implemented this, you have to assign the points for each correct answer for all the quizzes, or no quizzes.

    The way it works in BadgeOS, as described in this thread, is that you have a global setting to define a multiplier for quiz points, and that’s indeed the same for all quizzes, but you can also create an award/achievement specific to each quiz, so that a given award only applies to a specific quiz and adds specific point types for each quiz, based on the global multiplier setting and the number of correct questions in the quizz.

    So you only have to create one specific achievement per quiz, which will take as a variable the number of correct questions and the multiplier and assign the resulting point types. If we want to add more than one point type for that quizz, we can do so, but not all point types are automatically added for each correct answer, which allows to have differences between games/courses.

    Unless I missed something, this is still not possible in Gamipress, as the global multiplier is linked to the point type, and applies to every quiz.

    Did I miss something?

    In any case, many thanks again for implementing this, I’m sure it will be helpful for some use cases, but I hope you’ll be able to extend it further to give it more flexibility. For now I won’t be able to use this add-on so I have to keep the workaround unfortunately, as we have two different courses and two different games, with more to come.

    Best,

    Manni

    Hi Ruben,

    No worries, I understand and I can make the difference between a feature request or custom development and the need to fix an issue in the plugin.

    It’s great that the fix to the notification issue is already on the roadmap, I was only pointing this out again because over the last three months I received many complaints from our users about the spamming regarding game progress notification, and some of them pointed out that it was against the GDPR and other privacy laws as they had no way to opt out, so I was only bringing this to your attention.

    If you had not confirmed that you were about to fix this, we would have had to think about other solutions, which we don’t really want to do as we love Gamipress!

    Great news also that the points per quizz is implemented, I wasn’t aware of this, I’ve downloaded the plugin and I’ll give it a go. I’ll reply in the other thread so that others become aware of this development and I’ll also leave a review once I’ve taken a look!

    Many thanks for all this, it does help a lot!

    Best,

    Manni

    Hi Ruben,

    Thanks but I’m not talking about the premium conditional notification or conditional emails add-ons (which I haven’t purchased). I’m talking about the standard notification emails, for example those sent when the user reaches a certain rank. This is therefore part of the main plugin, as available to any user of the free WordPress plugin.

    The only add-ons that I have have purchased are the Leaderboard add-on and the EDD Partial payment add-on, as mentioned in my first message. I have already asked about this notification issue through support many months ago and never got a reply, so I assumed this was because it wasn’t related to the paid extensions I have purchased.

    I also mentioned this issue to you three months ago in another thread here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/award-points-for-each-correct-question-in-a-quiz/#post-14216022

    This is why I am posting this in the public forum, as this needs to be urgently adressed. This isn’t a feature request or a suggestion, it is about legal compliance. Your plugin, currently, doesn’t allow us to comply with the GDPR regulations and other privacy laws.

    I would appreciate to get an answer here, or please let me know how I can reach support to get an answer on an issue related to a feature offered by the main, free plug-in.

    Thank you!
