I am not able to give a link of the live sites in public. The test multisite site is on vmware. I will make it accessible through the internet in the weekend and post the link at that time.

Can wordpress create a false canonical link? I googled it because I was worried but I am not sure I found any problem about the default canonical link. Can you give me an example?

The multisite or single instalation is a difficult decision. I think I will finally keep the current multiple single wordpress sites for another year.

We don’t use a seo plugin for performance. All seo is created in all our themes. The canonical link is created by wordpress in all the single installations. Is there a problem with that canonical link? Is it wrong perhaps? Please, this is important, thank you for the help.

If updates are done with wp-cli or other server command line scripting, is there a list of arguments for the multisite or against the multisite installation? I would be very grateful to find a clean list like this that focuses on performance, resources. Is multisite a good solution for high traffic sites?
