Okay, a little googling gave me the clue that the problem might be with the plugin “Events Calendar”. So I went into my site’s directory on the server, and renamed the “events-calendar” folder within the plugins directory. This effectively disables the plugin.
And now my site is back up! ??
It looks like we might have to wait for an update to the plugin or something to make it work properly with WP3.0
