In reply to: [Tag Groups is the Advanced Way to Display Your Taxonomy Terms] 404 errorsI found the problem. There was indeed an htaccess rule left behind in the previous incarnation of the site. Thanks for pointing the way!

In reply to: [Tag Groups is the Advanced Way to Display Your Taxonomy Terms] 404 errorsHi,
I changed the default “tag” in Settings > Permalinks, where you can set either the category or tag base name. No plugin, no htaccess was necessary. Thanks for your quick reply!

In reply to: [footnotes] Mouse-Over BoxStefan,
Many thanks for your support. It seems that caching may be the problem after all! I’ll look further in it.
Thanks again!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [footnotes] Mouse-Over BoxHi,
You can look at this page: https://zonaf8.com/25-aniversario-de-la-muerte-de-robert-mapplethorpeAbout the server-side cache mentioned by mark.cheret, I assume the wp-content/cache/ is for a plugin like W3 Cache, because i dont see that directory in my installation. The plugin I use is Supercacher and, as suggested, I flushed it but still the same problem.
Thanks for your support!

In reply to: [footnotes] Mouse-Over BoxHi Stefan,
Sorry but the issue is more or less the same. Two problems: (1) Because of the background color of the box (it seems transparent) the footnote is an overlay over the main text and (2) the footnote is shown in the main text. After moving the cursor over the footnote number, then the footnote text rearranges itself and is shown correctly.
The first problem is evident when I’m using FireFox and Chrome (Windows 8.1). The second problem is when using FireFoxSo, I ended with your initial fix. Maybe in a future update the mouse-over box could be an option.

In reply to: [Special Recent Posts] Warning errorFixed. It seems that the plugin chokes if images are to big, maybe in excess of 1000px (longest side)
Without having to use phpMyadmin, how can the log file be downloaded? The previous version had an option for a comma-separated values (CSV) file, but in the new version I don’t see this option.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Translation – viewsI’m having the same problem. Any ideas on how to fix this, incluidng the CSS for this particular entry?
I also tested with some 404 url; working nicely!

In reply to: Problem with Gzip enabledThank you all for the answers.
For now I deactivated the gzip function from the Headwaythemes setup.
I’ll take a look at W3Total Cache and the like. The current hosting provider also has available a SuperCacher from the CPanel; don’t know if its the same Super Cache that Luis mentioned. I’ll check. As for activating gzip on WP from /wp-admin/options.php, maybe I misunderstood but I did not find any references to ‘gzip compression’ field in options.php Should I look in other file?
