    Thanks Riccardo,

I read through the post and I’m not sure making a custom page template would work. All my other pages (about, services, etc) include a side bar. But when I go to customize and select ‘Home’ to be my static page, then the sidebar disappears, but only for this page. All my pages have the same template selected (Default). I did go to the editor and I can see that I have a content-page.php and a front-page.php. I’m assuming that when I select to have a static home page and I select home, it overrides the selected template and makes it fullwidth. I’ve tried to make changes to the front-page.php file but can only manage to get the sidebar at the bottom, not on the side.

    Any ideas?

Thanks for the quick response Kadence Themes. I contacted my hosting services provider and they reversed to the previous version. I think it may have had more to do with the WordPress 3.9 update, as some other themes I had installed before I settled on Virtue (you’re the best!) also disappeared. I’m going to wait a bit before I update again.

Oh, I just went to Facebook and typed in https://hostaldebelenantigua.com.

Also, I don’t have any blog posts, just pages, and that is the address to the main page of the website. I don’t know what Jetpack is but I’m going to look into it and try it out. I will let you know how it goes.

    Thanks!
    Manuela
