In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Broken layout on mobile for OceanWP themeHi qtwrk, thanks for reply,
REPORT QERCRPMF
I have disabled “Inline JS minify” and for now it seems to have solved it.
So with this in mind. Do you still recommend enabling that Cache mobile option? What will that do exactly?
Regards
Hi, thanks for reply, yes to that topic

In reply to: [OceanWP] Submenu item not clicable – New bug mobileHi, to shine some light on the issue:
Customizer/Header/Mobile Menu/Dropdown Target –
We changed from “Link” to “Icon” and that solved it for us. We don’t really know what that setting is meant to do but now those menu items are can be clicked from mobile.

In reply to: [OceanWP] OceanWP slow speed – PageSpeed insights/LighthouseThanks for reply, yes I agree. Is a pitty cause I still believe this is the best WP theme but currently is a SEO killer. We switched from a horribly performing Divi template and even that theme got half loading times and our rankings are affected.
Please, to any OceanWP developer reading this, check issues simply by using Google Optimization tools mentioned above. This used to be one of the best WP themes for SEO but seems the loading speeds and scripts have gone out of control.
Also please check Theme Panel/Scripts and Styles cause most don’t work or make little to none performance difference.
Loading speeds of 6 or 8 seconds on litespeed servers and other fast hostings and using heavy reducing cache plugins such as WP fastest cache or Rocket cache is a big issue.

Hi Jerry, thanks, already sent an email via the form,
I was thinking about the plugin WP Fastest Cache and the setting to combine JS cause I can’t see any other strange setting we have. The template is OceanWP,

Hi Jerry, thanks for super fast reply,
We have it set to (gtag.js) now as you mention and I did the test you suggested but sadly it didn’t appear on Google Analytics. Could be cause we are using WPML?
Does it track the event when you click the button simply no? I mean, you don’t have to actually make the call right?
I do appear as a live visitor and don’t have the IP excluded but no sign of the event.
Any idea?

In reply to: [OceanWP] Remove Widget Column title in Mega MenuThanks! We will use a column name for now

In reply to: [OceanWP] Remove Widget Column title in Mega MenuOh sorry just found it, it appears in the main submenu as you mentioned.
For what I see that hides the the column name of each column including elements that may be clickable menu items so I guess we will just create column titles, thanks!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [OceanWP] Retina logo makes logo dissapear for internal pagesThanks for reply, sadly that is a staging site only where the webmaster didnt install it but we will check once we migrate if the SSL certificate fixs it. Thanks!

In reply to: [OceanWP] WPML mobile menuThanks Amit, I poste in WPML also and they replied:
“I suspect that this option is within the admin texts of the theme and might be saving the ID of the menu, so we will need to find this admin text and ‘translate’ it with the ID of the menu in the secondary language.
Please visit this link where you will find the steps to follow in order to translate admin texts and try to find the option fot the mobile menu: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/theme-localization/translating-options-coming-from-themes-and-plugins/”
So it sounds like a workaround but I believe then that the issue comes from OceanWP missing the menu ID then no?

In reply to: [OceanWP] Top bar full widthYou are the best! Works perfectly thank you
Thanks for detailed reply but when I was talking about the focus keyphrase I mean that it was used 7 times (the exact focus keyphrase) and your plugin didn’t detect it once.
Well to be fair, it detected it in the meta description only, not in the post content itself.Sadly I’m back on Yoast and to be honest, not willing to play with fire again.
Maybe the reason was cause I was using the Gutenmberg editor instead of WPML editor or whatever, nothing really strange in my setup, oceanwp template, WPML with 2 languages and your plugin.
Data migrated from Yoast and set up correctly and it says 0 instances in default Gutenmberg.About the featured image I get what you mean but I think is a mistake on your side to see it that way. If the featured image is using the ALT tag then there is an image with the ALT tag using the focus keyphrase, actually is the only place where we set it and I know others do the same.
A different story is if the user decides to show it or not via template settings.
I’m pretty sure your plugin has amazing features and things but interface, geez sorry but no way. What takes me 1 minute in Yoast takes me 10 in your plugin. The meta description and SEO title box is a good example. Why a new window for that, sorry but is not user friendly as I see it.

PD: You have 200K+ installs cause your marketing team is amazing. You payed influencers or gave discounts to promote your software, totally legit but please let’s not act as if everyone in this forum ignores that.
