In reply to: [Activity Log - Monitor & Record User Changes] Deleting ActivityHi tekguru,
Thanks for your input!
Unfortunately, at this stage there is no way to remove activities from the log. There is a way to do that which we don’t really recommend, which is by removing the items directly from the database (using phpMyAdmin, for instance).
To be honest, we have been considering to add this feature, which is why I encourage you to keep an eye on future updates.
Good luck!
Hi Handoko,
What capabilities are needed for accessing the activity log of the user itself and log of all users?
The capability a user needs for viewing the dashboard page is
edit_pages
.There is one thing you need to know though. The plugin won’t allow a user to see log items for users that have a greater amount of control over the site. That means that, for example, a user with the “Editor” role will not be able to view log items that were logged for a user that has the “Administrator” role.
Hope I’ve answered your question. If you’re not sure about something, feel free to ask.
I think you really do have a great plugin.
If that is really what you think, then you should go ahead and give this plugin 5 stars.
Me and Yakir have invested in this plugin tremendously, hoping that people out there will find it useful. The truth is — we’re not doing it for the ratings. We’re working on this plugin because we enjoy building plugins for people to use.
Since I don’t see how people will benefit from having this thing integrated, and since that plugin isn’t open-sourced, I don’t think we’ll do it. And if that means you won’t change your rating, then that’s fine with us.
But again, just like I said earlier, this is a fairly easy thing to do, considering you are a developer.
Hi Tiffniffer,
The plugin you’ve linked to doesn’t utilize the native post type feature that is offered by WordPress core. That is why the information doesn’t seem to be logged. As my partner Yakir said, you can easily integrate that plugin with ARYO Activity Log by using our the internal logging API.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Old Core Files] Looks like the screenshots are missing.Hi!
That’s right. For some reason the screenshots are not showing up in the “Screenshots” tab, and I think it has to do with a bug on www.ads-software.com.
Anyways you can find a screenshot right here (from Trac)

Hope you’ll enjoy using it!
Let me know if you need any more assistance!

In reply to: [Old Core Files] Great for listing outdated filesHi venture37,
Seems like this issue is related to the initialization of one of the
WP_Filesystem_*
classes. There must be something wrong with your server/PHP configuration.I’ve tested this plugin on Windows and Linux environments, and it seems to be working just fine.
Is there any other detail issue you noticed that might have triggered the error you listed here?

Same thing. That error causes a 500 page to show up.
Here’s what I’m getting:
