Can I specify /tmp directory to use?

I would be grateful for guidance in setting a specific /tmp file directory for the plugin. Is this possible? I am not a real programmer but I have looked through all files and structure options and do not see where I can make this adjustment.

My ISP has shut down my account because a large region project is taking down other sites on this shared server. I have a specific path they have given me and I would like to use this.

I would very much appreciate your guidance on this.
