I reinstalled OSX Sequoia and now the problem is gone. Apple Mail / Jetpack related but I no longer have the issue so you can close this case.

Found out that the side image does shown in iOS on iPhone but not in Apple Mail. I am running Sequoia on Mac and latest version of iOS on iPhone. On Mac I have no Privacy protection active.

I published a post which you should have recieved now.

To make sure: I only found out that the site image is not shown in mail, other images are fine.

My hosting server is located in Belgium https://123-webhost.nl

Yes I am using an iCloud account for this email address

When I load the mail in Apple Mail via iCloud https://www.icloud.com/mail/ the image is also broken

I tried all steps. No luck.

The image that’s loaded in the email as site icon seems to be this one:

It is extremely small, can this be the problem? So Apple Mail can’t show it and show it as question mark image?

Yes pressing the ‘Redo the plugin setup’ causes the same error. This button generates this url:

https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/o/oauth2/auth/?response_type=code&access_type=offline&client_id=… etc

I notice this ‘access_type=offline’ string.

Tried that. Troubleshooting mode active. Active Site Kit and press that button again. Same error on https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/o/oauth2/auth/…etc

I have filled in the form.

It happens when I go to Site Kit from the Dashboard and click on the button at the top ‘Do the plugin setting again’ (I am using Dutch system so I translated the button text).

Thanks for your help and time! I thought that Elma was a WordPress developer, hoping this was good. But I guess the core WordPress theme is better. Although I have had much trouble customizing the previous core theme one with same issues, fonts showing differently between front and back end. But anyone, we’ll see…
