I’m seeing the same attacks, and now I feel safe after your information. I have strong passwords and try to follow the rules explained in Hardening WordPress article.

On the other side, I’m concerned about the bandwidth these attacks is sucking from my poor server. Is there a way to avoid it?

This “home” label actually is a menu item created automatically. You can change it creating a menu in Appearence/Menus and adding a menu item with the name you want.

Strangely, in my site the line appears like this:

The comparison is “==”, not “!=”.

Unfortunately, to change or comment this line didn’t cause any effect. My images continue in black. ??

You can add this code in General Settings section in Appearence/Theme Options.

You don’t need to add all the code, just the color code line, like this:

body,
button,
input,
select,
textarea {
    color: #333333;
}

This theme doesn’t follow the WordPress standards for translation. I generated a .POT file using the iCanLocalize PHP Scanner tool: https://www.icanlocalize.com/tools/php_scanner. This tool returns a file that can be edit with POEdit.

After the translation, I have to put the .MO file in a folder named “languages”, inside “max-magazine” theme folder.
