Hi Zulf, I had the same issue. I solved it thanks to your reply. What I did was: go to Appearance/Customize/Twentyfourteen General Options and ticking the “Remove the featured content section?” box.
So my solution was slightly different than yours. Just reporting this in case somebody else needs this.

Checking the page with Firebug, I see that changing the height and width to 27 and 34px in the following css fix both the width and the lack of the lens:

padding: 6px 27px;
width: 13px;
}

But when I add this code through Simple Custom CSS (a plugin to add custom css) it does not work.

Disactivating Agreeable the error messages disappear.

I updated the plugin to the new version, an then tried to log out to check the proper working of the agree box, but unfortunately when I try to log out now I get the following error messages – I’m not sure they are related to your plugin, but I haven’t changed anything in my website in the last couple of days, so could you please check?

This issue occurs only when I login using the login form in the sidebar of the website.
The plugin works fine when I login in https://rootsfavourexchange.com/wp-login.php
The problem is that most of the members just use the login form in the sidebar – and that’s where the plugin fails.

Ticking the box with the name of the call to action in the sidebar widget the message disappears and the call to action box is displayed in the sidebar, but the issues still remain.

To see if I could fix the issues, I deleted the previous calls to action and created a new one. I then changed the size but my pages now display the following error message in the sidebar:

Thanks for your reply and for your suggestion.
Unfortunately I have a very long list of skills users should choose from (300+), so having a very long list of checkboxes is not the best solution.
People nowadays are used to type a search term in Google and get results.
Having to go through 300+ boxes to find “horse training” or “logo design” is not something the users would like to do.
They would prefer to write “horse training” or “graphics logo” in the search box and immediately get results.
Is there any way to extend the search function in buddypress to custom fields of the profiles?
Or to use google custom search? I have tried creating a custom search but Google doesn’t seem to be able to get info in the members profile.
Where should I ask, in the buddypress forum?

I’m not sure this is the best solution, but I removed the following code from the sidebar.php:

I would prefer a solution without plugins but the issues related to the menu are solved.
