I agree, we have over 600 videos on our website and used tubepress to categorise them for particular sections of our site using the playlist shortcode, all thumbnails now point to this particular video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKY3scPIMd8 instead, I have followed all the steps on the official support forum but it didnt work, then i seen that the topic is locked and check out the last post in the topic by tubpress staff, being held to randsom, no thanks, uninstalled, goodbye: https://community.tubepress.com/topic/5633-how-to-enter-your-google-api-key-into-tubepress/

Its ok, just found out why, maybe should have said “plugin author”, i thought DrewAPicture was being added as a contributor to my site…

For anyone else that has suffered the same issue as me, I have posted on the official Tubepress community and had a response from their team, which I am happy to say resolved the issue ?? here is the link to the topic I posted along with information on how to fix the issue:

this is not a tubepress issue, so you probably wont get a response from tubepress development, to change post id’s to actual words, you would need to change the permalink structure of your site via your wordpress dashboard, if you have any plugins that rely on your current permalink structure, any changes cause you big problems, heres the link to the official worpress documentation with regards to using permalinks, good luck

After months of trying to edit the theme to my liking i opted to switch over to Twenty Fourteen, thanks for your feedback i will implement it ??

My thumbnails are all fine, except maybe padding pixels between then when used in a widget, but my issue is when the video is playing, the screen has fallen halfway down below the player…

Different sizes of laptop and desktop monitors 16:4 and 4:3 seem to be fine, but having this resize issue using Xperia L, Samsung Note and Arnova Gbook, im running the latest WordPress with TwentyFourteen. https://www.doublevisionscotland.com
